Anyone else want to join me in 50 - count-em 50 weeks for FAIRY TAIL!

Oh, I forgot, we can indulge in Fairy Tail from October to November at Food and Wine....... :drinking1

Oh, sorry you didn't like it (more Banfi for us!). ;)

We had Banfi with Portobello mushroom sandwiches and chocolate ice cream last night. It went fine. The diet starts Monday.

Oops, double post.

They sell the Fairy Tale Cuvee at the resorts, you know. I have seen it at the Boardwalk and Beach Club, anyway.

A question for you parents of high schoolers. We need a reading list for 9th grade honors/AP literature. Alicia is in a reading mode this summer, and I'd like to take advantage of it! Anyone? Scubas?

Well, 12 years ago today I was truly blessed and very lucky! I said "I Do" and changed my life for the better in every way shape and form! At the time, I was only 18 and had on rose colored glasses. I did not think about the future or "real life". Only about the fact that I loved the guy. Lucky for me, once I took the rose colored glasses off, the world was a colorful rainbow, and looked even better with out said glasses! I won a man that treats me with respect, and is a wonderful father. I won a best friend, a lover (blush) and a parental partner! Poor man, he won a child bride that does not know how to cook, has an addiction to WDW and DCL and wanted a gaggle of kids! ( We ended up with 4) After all, she wants what she wants, when she wants it. What he sees in me, I'll never know. I am truly blessed and Thank God everyday for this MAN in my life! I only pray that I make him half as happy as he makes me, for if that is the case, we will be old and gray together, only thinking about love, and not "real life" or the future!

Honey, if I can ever get you over here to read this, I love you.
Everyone else, sorry for the mush, but it had to be done! ( Maybe it will inspire him to post???LOL)

Woohoo top of page 475! I like that number.....I have been very very lazy today. DH has to work today because of all the rain we have been having, and I had to work yesterday to make up for taking Monday off, to be in WDW. So I have been DIS and watching TV all day...I am soooo bad....

Hey I just remember Amanda's Law that was around months ago....LOL good times good times!:cool1:

Here is the 10th Grade IB List for literature they are going to read (they sent it home this summer in case your student is a slow reader or ambitious):

The Oepidus Cycle - Fitts & Fitzgerald
Macbeth - Shakespeare
The Crucible - Arthur Miller
Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass - Frederick Douglass
All Quiet on the Western Front - Erich Remarque
Things Fall Apart - Chinua Achebe
Of Mice & Men - John Steinbeck

This is Scuba Mom accidently posting under Scuba Diver (I'm too lazy to switch identies at the moment): The Optional Reading List for 10th Grade IB (1 per quarter)

Fahrenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury
Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
The Good Earth - Pearl S Buck
Lord of the Flies - William Golding
The Scarlet Letter - Nathional Hawthore
The Old Man and the Sea - Ernest Hemingway
Kon-Tiki - Thor Heyerdahl
Life of Pi - Yann Martel
Animal Farm - George Orwell
1984 - George Orwell
The Catcher in the Rye - JD Salinger
The Jungle - Upton Sinclair
THe Pearl & The Red Pony - John Steinbeck
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn - Mark Twain

Scuba Mom still -

After typing those lists maybe I will be inspired to read some of his books we had to buy for next year. I think I will do that after I re-read Harry Potter 4 & 5 in preparation for Harry Potter 6 (Yes I am addicted to that series).

Sharon, thanks! I think some of those were rattled off by the AP teacher when we went for parent night at the high school. 9th grade though, and I think the Iliad and Odyssey was one. She read that in 7th grade.

We are also waiting for HP 6! We may have to get two copies! Kevin always waits for the audio version.

Amanda, that's sweet. But if for no other reason, I could get around WDW a lot easier ! Maybe my feet wouldn't hurt as much.

As I sit here eating some English chocolate. It's not Monday yet, right?
