My manager asked the other day if I'd be interested in attending our user conference this year. It's being held at the Ritz-JW Marriott resort area ... what's it called ... Grande Lakes?

They have THE BEST spa there... spent a day there last winter- didn't want to ever leave!!!! (Best Christmas gift I've EVER received from an employer... and from just about anybody for that matter!!!)

A Friday morning TOP!pirate:

Since we're on the subject of food - Jimmy mentions the subject in one of his little ditties :teeth:

Cheeseburger in Paradise

Ah, one of Nick's favorite songs.

I like it except it gives me the shivers remembering how I got in the hot seat at who wants to be a millionaire at MGM.

CDBA! :scared1:

Or...here's another one that still sticks in my head...

When it says Libby's, Libby's, Libby's on the label, label, label, you will like it, like it, like it on your table, table, table.

How about....

My bologna has a first name
It's O-S-C-A-R
My bologna has a second name
It's M-A-Y-E-R
Oh I love to eat it everyday
And if you ask my why I'll saaayyyy
'Cause Oscar Mayer has a way
With B-O-L-O-G-N-A!!
I love that commercial. One of my favorites. Remember the old one with the little boy sitting on the end of the dock holding the fishing pole? It's a toss-up between that one and the Coke commercial where the little boy goes over to his Grandmother's house and she lets out a litter of puppies and they start licking and jumping on him. I could see it now, it always makes me smile. LIttle black ones, and tan ones. Makes me want a puppie....what the *^&*% am I saying....cut it out. No, no I don't want a puppy. Want one, but don't want the responsibility or headaches. Maybe when I'm old and have no one to "mother" anymore. Yeah, right. :rotfl2:

Have a good one.

TTFN,
Maria

Yesterday afternoon on the way home, Emily saw a sign for a lost dog. She said that she wished that she had a dog so it could be lost and she could put up a sign. I told her that it's not a good thing if your dog is lost and that it might never come home. That shows me that a 4.5 year old is NOT ready for a dog. Neither am I!!!

Angie

Did she see "Because of Winn-Dixie?"

How about a little Larry the Cucumber from 'Madam Blueberry':

He said to her,"I'd like a cheeseburger and I may like a
milkshake as well"
She said to him, "I can't give you either"
He said, "Isn't this this Burger Bell?"
She said," Yes it is but we're closed now but we open tomorrow
at 10"
He said, " I am extremely hungry but I guess I can wait until
then"

CHORUS:
'Cos you're his cheeseburger
His yummy cheeseburger
He'll wait for yo-u
He will wait for yo-u
Oh, you are his cheeseburger
His tasty cheeseburger
He'll wait for yo-u
Oh he will wait for you

He stayed at the drive-thru till sunrise
He may have dozed off once or twice
When he spotted a billboard for Denny's-
Bacon and Eggs for half price
How could he resist such an offer?
He really needed something to munch
Cheeseburger please do not get angry (Don't get angry)
He'll eat and be back here for lunch

CHORUS:
Cuz you're his cheeseburger
His precious cheeseburger
Be back for yo-u
He'll be back for yo-u
Won't be so long cheeseburger
Oh lovely cheeseburger
Be back for yo-u
Oh he'll be back for you

Because he loves you cheeseburger with all his heart
And there ain't nothin gonna tear you tw-o apart
and if the world suddenly ran out of cheese
he would get down on his hands and knees
to see if someone accidently dropped some cheese in the dirt
and he would wash it off for you
wipe it off for you
Clean that dirty cheese off JUST FOR YOU!!!!!

You are his cheeeeeesebuuuurrrrrgerrrrrrrrr

:wave2:

No, none of us has. Should we?

It was a great movie... but it will show her how much havoc a dog can wreak when left to its own devices... (or was that my dog, last weekend???) I guess it was both...

oh how about the dog that can wreak havoc even when it's NOT left to it's own devices!! ah, the story of Maggie.

why is it that when i'm frantically printing out pictures for a scrapbooking crop....

i run out of photo printer ink?

never fails.

off to cord camera! I think I'm biting the bullet this time and taking in my memory card and letting them print them. Otherwise I'll be rushing home and will be printing right up until it's time to go. :(

Ok, that's foreign to me! I'll take your cell phone number with me at all times so if I have trouble I'll call you!! :)

"Mr. Scuba, is this right?"
"blub, blub, I'm gurgle gurgle blub diving blub right bubble bubble gurgle blub now!" ;)

and that is exactly why I am trying to convence Sharon that I need an underwater communication system. She is having a hard time justifying a $4000 expense for another toy.

Too bad you aren't here now....I'm toying with the idea of making a Texas sheet cake for KT's scrapbooking crop tonight. 'cept that doesn't go well with your diet! :(

Serve it with Banfi and I'll be fine with it. :flower:

The Friday morning coffee hour has been busy!

Hour... its only supposed to be an hour? :confused3 Who knew?
(Now it's lunchtime, btw...)

Almost time to head outside for our "cookout". Looks like I'll be missing post #7000. That is unless Sir Scuba and Kikipug decide to go out to lunch too.

Angie

I'll add to the "fluff" today.

Construction update:
The windows and staircase up to the new MB Suite are getting put in today. Unexpectedly, I might add. I'm not complaining, really. Once the windows are in, my husband can start on the siding and totally "dry us in". Now I can call the kitchen place and have them come and measure everything and I can order cabinets. How exciting is THAT? I will keep you posted. Let's see if I can do this right. I can't figure out how to include all the photos, so I put a before and after picture.
