Sounds like you had a lot of rain while you were there. Did it rain all day long, or just in the afternoons. I have bought rain slickers and even threw in a couple of umbrellas (hate to use those). We will be at Universal on Tuesday/Wednesday before going over to WDW on Thursday.

Just great - Another reason John will fit in well with this group - do you bring your GPS with you on cruises, too?

Yes. It's fun to get the GPS coordinates when out to sea. It does not do very well assisting in the ports as the cities do not have the maps GPSed (if that makes any sense).

Just have John get ahold of me. I'll be glad to explain it all to him!

I just don't understand why Virgil does not have one. It sure would help him on all these trips to other cities. I take it on every business trip!

Sue even used it in Baltimore, the city she lives in!

It's a good idea to bring your rain slickers. It has been raining all day long. Our pool is about to over flow, seriously. It has been very unusual rain, all day long.

It's like OhioMinnie is still here (I could not resist)

The grill is packed, the cooler and tanks are filled. It is off to work/diving for me. Got to go and keep the company people happy. Diving, couple of hours in the office, and than a dinner meeting.

I wish all days were like this!!

I have no idea what you're talking about. The last few days have been sunny and HOT HOT HOT here. Kids have been in the pool all weekend! Gotta love Ohio!

We may be having someone else join us on the cruise. We asked Grandma Lightbulb if she'd like this cruise as her Christmas present this year. She hesitated, himmmed and hawwed....

Then we told her Mary would be there and she jumped at it!!

So today we look into availability....

Karen - that is great news! Saw your e-mail this morning but was trying to wake up more before answering! DCL online is showing availability in all categories 4-12. I'm so glad Mary will be joining you. Now my meeting with her and Butch can be a pre-cruise meet for two cruises!

DH and myself are just getting back from the repositional cruise (which was fantastic) and now I can start planning and anticipating the Double Scoop. (I'm DisBoard challenged in that I can only follow one thread at a time and keep it straight). I'm looking forward to seeing Mark, Mary and Ohio Minnie again after spending a great time with them on the 10-day at Christmas. We talked about the Double Scoop so much at the dinner table on the repositional cruise that I think at least two people signed up and there might be a third. (seaulater said she'd think about it). OK - off to work for the day. Hope everyone has a great time and I'm sure you'll see more of Ken and I on the thread in the months to come.

Oh, please he's a tech nerd...the GPS goes with him almost everywhere --- (now, if he could figure out how to pack the expresso machine and the roaster - he's also a major coffee snob...)

GaRry and his son were signed up at one time but had to cancel. We are trying to talk Gus into this one as well.

Since we had to cancel our July 2 West Coast cruise, Tony and I are going to double dip on the 5/27/06 Magic to cheer ourselves up.
It looks like there is a lot to catch up on here, so I'll have to plow my way through the thread. Looks like it is going to be a great cruise!!!

We've got sun here too... of course- because I'm back to work.

Just found out that while we were away our version of "the BEAST" tore up my FIL's house... she is a P.I.T.A., but never does that... apparently, when he kept her penned up on the (air-conditioned) sun porch while he was at work, she barked too much at the golfers... so he penned her in the kitchen, where she chewed the door jamb, ate through some cardboard boxes, and did quite a number on a kitchen chair. She NEVER does that at home (granted, she's not 'restricted' at home), but it looks like she'll be heading to a kennel when we need to go away now...

It's sunny and HOT, HOT, HOT in NY today. 3rd day of HHH. Our pool isn't opened yet. Hubby is too busy with the addition. So, we're going to have to pool-hop into the neighbors. hahahaha Don't worry, I'll keep it G rating. I've never skinny dipped. Have you? Y'all have a lot of pools out there.

Same for the weather here in Central Illinois, but we, especially the farmers, could really use some rain. As far as skinny dipping, we had an above ground pool at our last house, very few neighbors, wooded in the back, privacy fence... We don't have a pool here, although DS would love to have one. I was the one stuck cleaning it and never had a chance to use it. We have a very shallow well where we're at now and don't want to pay to have the water hauled in. Still, we're out in the middle of nowhere; closest neighbor is 1/2 mile...
