Mary-I'll have to try googling....hahahaha I love scoopie and if I wasn't doing the T-shirts, I would volunteer for TA for him. He's soooo cute. The boys are going to love him. He would fit right in with us. We love ice cream.

Karen - I can't believe you have to work on Monday - yuck!

Yeah... I'll be the only one here... we only 'officially' get Thanksgiving, New Years, and Christmas off, because our trucks deliver on Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day (3 big 'beer buying' days)... those of us who aren't directly involved in field sales, delivery, or the warehouse rotate 'holiday duty' for those days. (So I work one of them every 2 years... hmm... I worked last year too, but we've 'lost' one of the people in the rotation... so it's my turn again.)

The phone will probably ring a grand total of 10 times, and I'll need to let maybe a truck or 2 into the gate... that will be my day... so I'll probably be here on the boards a lot...

When I worked in the "real" world - I loved working "minor" holidays and/or around the Christmas holidays - because everyone else would be gone and most of our clients were too- so, the office was quiet...I got a lot of work done and left early most days...

Great! Monica and Maggie are now Scoopies official travel agents. If anyone is interested in having Scoopie visit please send your info (name address etc.) to Monica. Monica please let us know if you prefer pm's or e-mail. I'm assuming people don't want to post their addresses on the board.

Once Monica has the list she can forward it to me and I'll mail Scoopie to his first place along with the list and his id an password. Then when Scoopie comes to visit you and your family you can enjoy him for a short stay (what would be good - a week?) take a picture someplace fun (your pool, on a dive with you, a local landmark, whatever). Then post the picture on the the DIS using Scoopie's id and we'll play "Where's Scoopie". For those who don't have a host site for pictures you can send them to me via e-mail and I'll post them for you.

BTW - I put the part about the dive in just for our diving friends. Of course I'm hoping they will protect Scoopie on his dive in a waterproof case.

I thought I'd be on for the race for #6000 but I was stuck getting oil changed & tires rotated. Congrats to Mary! I thought I'd have smooth sailing this morning working from home & packing us up for our weekend trip. No such luck! Things are hectic with work so I still haven't gotten a chance to finish laundry & start packing yet!

One of the classes at my daughter's school did this at their school this year with the school mascot. Every child in the class took it with them or send it to someplace special and had to take a picture with the mascot in it. It was amazing all of the places the mascot went. There was a picture of it in Iraq, The Alamo, On a cruise ship and so many other neat places. Best of all, one of the kids has family members that are friends with the Bush's, they had pictures of the mascot all over the White House. That was really cool.

I am sure my kids would want to participate, so I will have to email Monica.
