(((Maria)))) Just wanted to tell you I am sorry for the passing of your father. I am glad that you all were able to do something fun in his honor.

Oh Wow, I just realized we will be in WDW in less than 4 weeks. Our kids still don't know and I am starting to get excited.

We haven't told our kids yet either- we'll be there 6/2-6/5. I hope I can keep it a secret til that morning.

Yes, Maria....DO TELL! I'm sure Kevin won't mind! (He's not here anyway, he's watching it!)

I'm still here. Worked today and tonight I've been finalizing everything for Jay's dad's trust so that I can get it to the accountant tomorrow and hopefully start the process of settlement. Whew. Finally. I'm sure glad MY parents are poor.
And my "boss" decided that I need to get the invoices out before Vegas (this weekend) and before my parents come and we go on our cruise. I'm not even going to ask if there is anything else than anyone could dump in my lap right now!

Guess I'd better go type up all the info for the accountant, before the boss gets the whip out!:love2:

Have a great evening and morning, everyone!!

:flower1:Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

Happy Wednesday!

Back to work I go! Had a fun long weekend and got to do some planning for our upcoming trips. Now back to work so I can afford them. :)

Have a great day everyone!

It's lunch time so it's time to read the boards, but there is nothing to read. People have been busy, but not on the boards.:confused3

Okay Jim, I'll give you something to read.......it might be a tad long....

It was the best of times,
it was the worst of times.

Nah, that's waaay too long to copy.......sorry I couldn't help.:guilty:

I appreciate your help, but I know you are busy trying to make your "boss" happy.

Guess I just go back to work or maybe I'll spend some time reading and dreaming about ResidenSea and owning an apartment on a cruise ship.

Nope... trying to work out the details for our 4 days at WDW in June... got 3 PS's (or AR's or whatever they want to call them this week) that we wanted... with less than 30 days to go, I was kind of surprised... from what you read around here, it seems no one can ever get what they want.

So here is something to discuss (maybe).

DW calls me and says: So if you end up NOT going to Key Largo in August (I'm leading our local group of divers on a dive trip) would you be interested in a Norwegian Cruise at Christmas???? It's only $3300 for the three of us. Stacey and her family are going!! Belize, Cozumel, Cancun, Roatan........

Hmmmmmmmm :scratchin

Now she's got me thinking!!

But, we ARE going to Key Largo!, can we go on this cruise too??? Hmmmmmm.....

I have to let everyone know how proud I am of my "big" girl Emily. She went to the elementary school this morning to be screened for kindergarten in the fall. This is at the public school. From what another parent said, it's strictly so that they can get a good mix of skill levels in all classes. While I was waiting for her to finish, 2 other children came out. Both teachers told both parents that the kids needed work on particular skills over the summer. When the teacher came out with Emily she just said that she did a great job. So, I asked if there was anything that we needed to work on. She said no - to just keep doing whatever we're doing. Emily was VERY proud of herself. She's been in a private pre-k program at day care that has definitely put her on track (she's starting to read short books to me). She'll be doing ok for a very young 5 when she starts kindergarten. Her b-day isn't until the end of Aug. and the cut-off is 5 by Sept. 1.

Ok, enough of being a proud parent!!! :teeth:

Thanks, now you have DW thinking about a Christmas cruise because we have not booked anything yet and you have me thinking about Key Largo.

When are we going to Key Largo? I want to come, can I?

I'm sorry Stacey!! I can't tell him anything. Well, you don't mind if all the DISers go on your Mystery Cruise, do you?

Actually, we cannot go. It was a fantasy for a few minutes, since I had to go check it out. We have too many other trips to pay for.

You can never get enough of being a proud parent, especially when your kid is doing great in school! Bragging is always allowed here!

Jim, Kevin hasn't filled you in on Key Largo yet? You need to chastise him severely. "No Banfi for you."

And sorry that Romber didn't win Amazing Race. We were routing for them too. But we didn't mind the winners a bit. Nice couple.
