The force is too strong on here. I can't fight it much longer. DS and I have watched all 5 Star Wars movies again after seeing 'Sith'...

we have just watched episode 4 and 5....waiting for 6 from netflix (should be here today) then will do 1 and 2....

then see 3 in the theaters...

Elizabeth 'officially' graduated into our church's youth group last night... I went to pick her up afterward, and couldn't get her to leave! I think she would have sat outside and hung out with the high-schoolers all night... she was a little put out that I showed up on time... "Mom... couldn't you at least be LATE?"

It's funny though- they have a trip to Wet-N-Wild planned for next week... she is flat broke, and now has decided to do everything she can to earn $25 in 7 days... last night, she unloaded the dishwasher (her job, anyway), reloaded it, and cleaned the kitchen... she wanted to wash the floor, but it was already 9:30... this weekend, she plans on washing my car, vacuuming, dusting, and washing floors.... I could really get to like this!!! I think I'll take my frozen beverage and float around the pool!! (gotta love my pool float with the built-in ice-bucket!)

only in that she will have already eaten at early dinner and she won't have to waste time eating. her mouth will be free to talk. her hands will be free to make dramatic gestures.

(not that she's prone to that)

let's just say we have heat mirror windows and at night, when the windows are reflective, she can't look you in the eye and talk to you.....she looks PAST you while she's talking and is overly dramatic. wintertime stinks b/c it's dark at 5:30---that's 3 full hours of window watching/dramatic talking....whereas in summer by the time the windows reflect, it's bedtime!! ahhh...peace!

The rain didn't last long - so, now it'll be doubly hard to keep the kids inside today (and me off DIS)- they'll want to go to the pool...There's so much to do before we leave for D.C. on Saturday....

gotta love when kids want to earn $- no more bathrooms, lawnmowing, they get all the jobs I can't stand doing - which is pretty much everything...Mike's still working off $100 in snacks he bought with his lunch $ this year - he's paying me back at a $1/hr...

Thanks for the reminder about Father's Day. Guess I need to go pick up a card for my dad & DH. I also need to remind DH that they'll have Donuts for Dad next Fri. at day care.

My parents left this moring to head back to Louisiana. They fear that they'll have to head home to prepare for the tropical storm out in the Gulf.

Now it's time to whip the kids back in to shape & break all of the bad habits that Grandma & Grandpa let them get away with. I love for them to visit but man do they let my kids get away with murder. How come they never let us do that as kids????
