#1....I don't drink DIET. It isn't good for you. Icky chemicals.

#2....Monica's right, I'd LOVE the company so don't threaten me with that.

#3....I have instructed the ibuprofen to only seep into MY half of the liver, okay??? Well, actually, I've instructed it to only head for my foot....but I don't think it's listening.


I talked to the on-call doc with my surgeon's group this morning and he said go ahead and take the ibuprofen for now, but to go see my doc on Tuesday. Can't go Monday since that's when my guy is in surgery. I was really hoping that they could send me out a prescript for something that might work better, but this guy said "I don't do feet"....... Does it matter what body part it is?? I'm thinking that should be first year Med school stuff.

Okay FINE. Heading for the living room to hang my foot from the ceiling fan. Which reminds me of the time when I was about 6 yrs old and our fresh Christmas tree wouldn't fit in the base and my dad didn't own a saw...wouldn't have known how to use one if he DID have one. So he honest to goodness tied it to the chandelier to make it stand up straight.
To this day, that story makes me laugh my be-hind off.

Welcome back! Keep this in mind - 2011 Hawaii with the Gums family. In case you hadn't seen it DVC is going to build at Ko Olina (where we stayed in February).

Nah....I think the pendant itself is only 1"...pretty small. And it's silver, so shall we take bets on how long I can wear it before my neck turns black... .....still okay, I just wanted it as a reminder.

That is such a shame. Back in its day it was really something.
Even the first time I ever got to stay there it was really something. That was probably 1973 or 1974......

Sadly no. It was mid-80's when we went to chuch this morning (7 am Mass) and has now gone up to 90. Not good weather for running but I would think Jim would have an edge on many of the locals since he has trained in hotter weather.

Did you see the lights go out at Coors Field last night? That was pretty cool.

Actually no. From what I've heard it will be 1/2 hotel and 1/2 DVC. However nothing beats a DVC one bedroom with full kitchen and a washer/dryer. You know you want DVC especially since they are also opening one at the Grand Californian in Disneyland!

And that size will be perfect for us, since we'll be down to just one kid by then.
But after the fiasco of dealing with Jay's Mom's timeshare, I doubt I could ever talk Jay into DVC. I picture him with his fingers in his ears going "Lalalalalalala"

From what I hear, the Disney Hawaii resort will be out in the boonies on Oahu. We really want to go to the Big Island, and I hear there are some cheap flights from Oahu. So maybe...

Looking forward to staying at GCV someday!

Nope, no cable TV - I wasn't happy the National League games are on TBS while the American League games are on Fox - not to mention the 9:00pm Central start times I couldn't stay awake for an entire game...Of course, it isn't exactly exciting to read the text of the game... And everyone else was happy because I wasn't screaming and yelling at the TV...

I promised John if the Cubs made it to the World Series - he could get his flat screen TV There's always next year!!!

In the Cub's defense, I have to say that at least they didn't get tromped. All the games were low-scoring, so they did a good job of holding their own.

Nappy time! I've been in the recliner with my foot up, but i can't get it quite as high as it really needs to be from here....so heading in to the bed where the plan is to read the rest of my book. I give myself two pages before the book hits me in the face....
