We'd be pulling away right about now and soon would be tears as we waved good-bye to GaRry yelling out "WE LOVE YOU GARRY" as we passed Jetty Park.

That was a really great cruise, wasn't it? Maybe not so much for the ports as it was just for the friends.....

I wish we were all there now...only this time with gaRry and Vicki onboard!

John was changing his flights to Chicago to get the kids from Camp Grandma/Grandpa in July...He noticed that the current internet special has flights to/from Chicago running at $45 ONE WAY!!! Quickly changing all of our flights just netted us $360 in Southwest credit!!!

Unfortunately, they have to be used by March 18 - can't use them for summer DL trip... Rats, that means an adults only trip...darn...

Hey everybody,

How is everyone? I just can't believe it's been 1 whole year since we were at that "sail-away" party. All that waiting we did and it's over and done with and a year later to boot. What I wouldn't do to blink my eyes and be back on the Magic. It was Animator's Palate for dinner, right?

I haven't been able to chat with you guys in quite the while. I've been working full time and it's really been getting in the way of my social life. Really!! I have to find a way to cut that out.

I'll try to read some back pages, but I definetly won't be able to catch up on everything. Any newsworthy stuff to report?

There IS a way around that. You can book a trip for before March 18....and then later, cancel that one. Voila! You now have your credit to use in June. I've done it.
If this didn't make sense, I can 'splain it better...it would just take me longer.

The stomach bug that Ashley had didn't even last 24 hours .. YEAH! Kids bounce back so easily. By 6:00 on Sat. she was chatting away & ready to eat.

Yesterday was good day. Our new office furniture came in on Sat. Yesterday we managed to change the light fixture & buy a new area rug. It's well on its way to being complete. Now I just need to get all of the junk back in the room & hidden inside the new furniture!

Today we'll try to go see Shrek the 3rd. Anyone see it yet?

Well I have done a few since then just not the DCL ones. I did our Hawaii book, some circle journals from our Member Cruise and now a small scrapbook for a friend of my mom's. Then I'll do last year.

We saw Shrek last week - we enjoyed it - the humor was more adult - but still a good kid's movie.

We meant to go see POC3 Friday for my birthday - but we just didn't want to spend almost 3 hours in the theater... So we went to the minor league baseball game instead.

Definitely a Happy Memorial Day to all!

Mike has talked to several people who saw Shrek 3. It's only an hour and 20 minutes, but apparently one of them was so bored they walked out after about 45 minutes. All of them said it was not up to the standard of the other two.

As for POC3....We went to the Movie Tavern Thursday night at 8:00....some thoughts on the whole thing.....the food was substandard. In fact, Mike and I shared a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and I did not like it at all. I took about 5 bites and gave the rest to him. The queso dip we got as an appetizer tasted very processed. We were in recliners that kept moving aroud everytime you shifted weight. So you had to be very careful not to get your fingers or elbows smooshed between your recliner and the neighbors. Because it was darker, people couldn't see what they were doing. Right behind us someone dumped a huge tumbler of pop. Then down a couple someone dropped an entire tub of popcorn. We probably would not go again unless we just planned on dessert or popcorn and we sat in the rows of anchored down chairs.

As for the movie, I had a lot of trouble following it. There was so much action and fighting with dialogue interspersed that I couldn't make out what they were saying. I always swear I have a hearing problem b/c I can't make out if words aren't clear, but I pass hearing tests with flying colors. I just can't hear well when there is a lot of background noise or people mumble. And Tia (is that her name?).....crud, I can't understand 98% of what she says. So that took away from the movie a lot for me. I'll watch it when it comes out on DVD with subtitles and probably like it more. But all in all, so far I don't think it comes close to the first 2.
