It all sounds fascinating, Virgil. But better you than me on that long flight. Just for giggles, I looked to see what it would cost from Phoenix to Barcelona on British Airways, First Class....which is the ONLY way I'd fly that far...(actually there is NO WAY that I'd fly that far, but anyway...)
It would cost per person....$6000. Nope...nada....
I'll just be happy with my new little car instead.

But have a blast! You KNOW we are expecting a full report with pictures!

Yes, it was. Three days after my birthday, we did a combined celebration. When is yours, and what are you doing for such a momentous occasion?

October 8th. I'm really not sure yet what we'll do...but Jay did acknowledge that this is a BIG one....so he's thinking about it.
We were invited on the Mirage's next free cruise, which is at the end of October. We weren't going to go on it, but we might now, and call it an anniversary gift.

Fly from Phoenix to Charlotte, N.C.
Spend the night at the Holiday Inn @ the airport (whee!)

Saturday, June 2nd
Fly from Charlotte to Providenciales, Caicos Islands
Pick up rental car, drive on the LEFT hand side of the road to the villa w/o hitting anyone
Meet the agent @ the house.
Go get groceries

Hit the water a.s.a.p.

Sunday June 3rd
SNORKEL

Monday June 4th
SNORKEL

Tuesday June 5th
SNORKEL
Take an evening sail to see the mating of the glow worms

Wednesday June 6th
SNORKEL with Sail Provo to the out islands
Stop at the iguana island

Thursday June 7th
SNORKEL

Friday June 8th
SNORKEL

Saturday June 9th
Fly home.....if they can find me and force me onto the plane


I do plan on setting up the tripod on the balcony to try to get some shots of the full moon on the ocean....but otherwise, I'm not going to do a whole lot of anything.

And I'm definitely not birthing any cows.

By the way, I went to my doc on Monday to get new tranquilizers for flying. I told him the ones he'd given me before weren't working for me. Duh....they were over 2 yrs old! But with over half a bottle left after two years, at least he knows I wasn't abusing them.

ballet recital here in London (KT's old group--would just go to support them and see what they're up to)

great-nephew's birthday party in Cleveland (really want to see him get the Disney crocs we bought him)

Mike's sister's clarinet recital in Dayton (boring....but at least closer to home and a lot less travel time)

(still haven't decided which we are going to do. We can only do one)

Mike is on call
Kids do school

Tuesday, June 5th
Mike is off. He will probably take the kids to either Cedar Point or Kings Island that day. I get a "day off."

Wednesday, June 6th
Nick has speech therapy in the morning.
KT has youth group in the evening.
Kids do school.

Thursday, June 7th
Orthodontist appointments for KT and Nick
Kids do school.

Friday, June 8th
nothing planned
Kids do school.

Saturday, June 9th
Mike is on call again
Kids probably do school.

Whew.

And I don't have to worry about cramped leg room in coach, getting malaria shots, or drinking the water.

I love King's Island... went there in '88 for a day. I was so incredibly sick with mono, but couldn't pass up the roller coasters... my MD almost killed me when he found out that I rode roller coasters with mono... first thing he said to me was "Do you REALIZE you could have ruptured your spleen???" (What did I care... I was 20 and invincible... besides, who needs a spleen??????)

Let's see... a random week in June...

Monday... WORK
Tuesday... WORK
Wednesday... WORK
Thursday... WORK
Friday... WORK
Saturday... Christopher's football game, then probably work an event
Sunday... Church... then probably work an event if I didn't work one Satuday.

And if its the week of June 11, 3 of those work days will be at the Mothership
