Slow night last night on the boards, I see....well, time for me to get onwith morning chores.

I did manage to start the outside lights last night (and then it rained...) Maybe this is a new talisman for rain, stringing outside lights. But we will take all the drops we can get right now.

I have given up on having time to weed and edge the beds before Christmas. And perhaps I shall try the concept of less is more? I did remove several strings once I sood back and saw the results of my handiwork. We will see how the week goes.

I thought he might have been one of your customers. Really sad how it happened. Just another reminder of how precious our time really is.

Yeah, and he's one of the few who is much more than just a customer, but a good friend and very active in our community. It just really stinks.

We all went over there last night to raise a glass or two to Louis... (which is a BudMan tradition)... its just really eerie that we were able to do that on the exact spot where that idiot took his life. Life is so precious... you just never know when... and in this case WHERE.

Everyone, please remember to hug your family and friends a little tighter today.

Maria, congrats on the cruise. Does this mean y'all won't do WDW at all? Will the boys be disappointed.

Sounds like everyone had a great Thanksgiving & is now gearing up for the holiday season. We had a great trip "home" to Louisiana. Got to meet Bruce's nephew for the first time ... he's a butterball. The other nephew is now almost 2 and reminds us soooo much of Emily. Their looks are VERY similar and they seem to have the same personality. It was great seeing both of our families. The one down-side is this nasty head cold that I picked up ... pretty sure if was set-off by allergies.

Took a drive on the coast from Biloxi to Gulfport. There has been quite a bit of clean-up done but not much in the way of construction. I'm very sad to see all of the signs for high-rise condos that are to be built in the area. Things will not be the same.

We haven't started our Christmas decorating yet. Maybe we can get a tree on Thurs. or Fri. then decorate this weekend.

DD, DS, etc, etc, etc? I get so confussed reading some of the emails from vetron cruisers. I am not stupid, just confussed.

DD = Disney Daughter (or darling daughter or dear daughter)
DS = See above ...only "son"
DH = Same for hubby
DSIL = Sister in law

And so on and so forth......ask away on any of the others, we're here to help!!
It does take a while to get the hang of it, and there are a TON on the resorts and parks Boards that I still have to look up!

Sure! When it's attached to a name, it is who they are in relation to the writer, such as ds is dear(or disney) son, dd is dear daughter, and so on. When it's a location, it's the placename's abbreviation, such as mk is magic kingdom, and so on.

This is the first time in a very long time I got the last post at night and first post in the morning, especially when I slept all night.

Slipping up, I guess...... I was online, but was researcing Turks and Caicos again. Found one that's perfect for us. $2400 for a whole week....on the beach, has a swimming pool....the lower half is available if anyone is interested!

I know, we're talking about buying in Bonaire, so why go to T & C? Jay and I talked some more, and thought there were still a few places we want to check out first, before committing to buy.
