Here are some before (white stucco & blue shutters) & after (wheat stucco & black shutters) pics of the house. All comments are welcome ... good & bad ... still deciding whether or not to leave the stucco in the front green or have it painted wheat like the stucco accents. The green is a little washed out & gray looking in these pics.

I like the new look a lot better - very nice looking!

Not sure where you mean that there is green stucco.....

When you're looking at the front of the house, the far right has an upstairs portion that is stucco above the brick. The pictures don't look as green as it really is.

Bravo Nick!!!

Katherine Paterson is another of my favorite children's authors!!! And this is a review from the critic who is always critical? Well Done!!!

On top of the 11 inches of rain we recieved a week ago, it rained another 6 inches on Thursday. Maggie's "home" soccer fields cancelled all games this weekend - but, since we were playing an away game - these fields were still open. I think the girls would have been dryer playing water polo

Hey Jim,

You want a 4 year old? That girl can't sleep. She was up at 3:15 Fri. morning. She was ready to get up for the day. She doesn't belong at my house! Can she go live with you???

Ang

How can I say this kindly.........NO!

Been there, done that, got my own issues. Have fun. :lmao:

I know the feeling.

I had a 10 mile training run this morning. It was broken up in 2 segments, 7 miles and then a local 5K. The 7 miles started at 6 am.

Matt decided to join me since he is working toward a 15K in a couple of weeks.

We left the house at 5:30 am and it looked like the rain had stopped. It had rained all night long.

Well, that was to hopeful. It started raining at 6 am and rained hard for the next 7 miles. We ran through puddles and it seemed like lakes.

We did our 7 miles and ended cold and wet....and just in time for the 5K. Matt came in first for his age and I came in second for my age. This is the first 10 mile run Matt ever did and he did a great job!!

It was miserable, but it was so miserable that it became funny. I guess I should have bought that running rain coat I was looking at last night. :sunny:

Yeah, in fact the last show she reviewed got the WORST review. What was sad was she bashed a lot of the kids in the show---they couldn't dance, they couldn't sing, the look of them was wrong. I know they have to review the show, but after a kid words his heart out for 6+ weeks that's hard to hear, I'm sure.

Katherine Patterson was at the show Wednesday and Thursday (along with Stephanie Tolan) They are both very nice ladies. Mike got Stephanie Tolan's email address and gave her a Pediacast card. He asked her if he could interview her for his podcast and she agreed. :) She even knew what a podcast was! :)

Angie, house looks GREAT. I love the new shutter color. The old color (to me) screamed "country" but the style of your house is anything but country. Love it! Nice yard too! :)

Jim,
The only time I'll run through the rain is if I get out of the grocery store and the weather is bad. As a general rule I don't run......nor do I go in the rain.....so doing both at the same time is NOT my cup of tea! :)

Even Sharon runs!

I've seen her run through the terminal to be first in line. :rotfl:

I'm always running!

I run out of time, run late, run out of patience, run out of money... :rotfl2:

Hi guys. I have some really sad and upsetting news. I don't know how many of you know my friend Barb. She is on the Boards as jilljill. I know that Mary and Mark know her, and gaRry, Virgil....maybe Ohminnie.....
Anyway, I have an e-mail from Barb. She and her family, parents and brother, all live in Delaware. There was a fire during the night at Barb's parent's house. Her father made it out of the house, but her mother didn't. Her dad was being treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation.
Please, please say a prayer for Barb and her family.

I agree. I think the black shutters make the house look very classy. And it was a beautiful home to begin with!
I say use the wheat color on the rest of the stucco, otherwise you have too many colors.
It really looks great! Reminds me that we need to paint our house.

Hi everyone! Sorry I havent been around much! I just though I would poke my head in here and say hello.
