And.....my Dad finally met with the oncologist to go over the biopsy results of the spots on his lung. It isn't cancer...he has a treatable VIRUS!!

Good morning cruisers ​

Happy Friday!​

OK a little early but I won't be on the computer in the morning. Greetings from Murfreesboro, TN! A pretty uneventful trip down. Not too much rain and not much traffic until we hit Nashville. We were on the same road that led to a concert arena that was hosting Aerosmith and Motley Crue tonight. Yikes!

An early start tomorrow and we're heading home to the Boardwalk!​

Thank you.....and thanks to everyone. I'm still just so excited for Sharon, and so happy about my Dad. I can't quit thinking what a miracle it is for Sharon and Ken!


Mary....you & Mark and Bear have been in my thoughts all day, and will be until you're off the roads and relaxing at "home"!! Glad the trip was basically smooth so far.

Doctor appt for me, then to a charity luncheon, then to take Jared for bloodwork, then to look at mattresses for the apartment.

Stacey, hurray for good news days! Much better than all the bad news we've been having lately.

I am without internet, 24 hours now. I bought a laptop for emergencies such as this, so I could go to the wireless internet coffee shop near us. My laptop went with Kevin to the remodeler's convention. So I'm at the library. Got to wait my turn so I could take care of Ebay business. Happy happy joy joy.

That's awful. I don't know what we'd do. Our ISP offers X number of dial-up per month but these days computers don't even come with modems.

Pam, I'm REALLY hoping that we can cruise with you again. Or meet up at WDW. KT and Nick went to the dentist this week (no cavities) and our dentist is a huge Disney fan (his hygenists said "if it was allowed, he'd be buried there!")

Anyway, Dr. Dentist was asking the kids about their last cruise and KT kept going on and on about how she cruised with her friends Ashley and Nicole from TX and how she was planning another cruise with Ashley.

Us too. Ashley really never has time to get on the computer anymore, but let KT know she still talks about her all the time. It is just so sad that we live so far away. You all really should plan a trip out to So. California so we can meet up at Disneyland sometime. We can at least drive to California in less than 12 hours.

We figure we'd make a trip out of it and do Disneyland and the USS Midway at the same time. Woo-hoo. KT would be THRILLED if you guys could meet us there!

I just googled it and the dates for next years PME are September 28-30th. So it'd be either just before or just after those dates.

That might be a little difficult because of school. We will just have to play it by ear for now and see. We are actually looking at going to California either for Spring Break (March 11-18) or sometime next July. temps in So. California are much kinder than those in Florida.

Of course you too. See post above about when we are looking at going. Have you heard of the So. California City Pass. you get a 3 day ticket to DL, a day at Universal, 1 day at Seaworld and 1 day at the SD Zoo. They sell online for $199 per adult, but this year they were selling them at Costco for $179. My luck they won't be selling them next year when I want them.
