:tinker:Good morning cruisers :tinker:

Happy Friday!

Happy to hear everyone is enjoying the pictures. I hope everyone else gets theirs today.

Stacey - take care of yourself!

Diana - you can do your single digit dance today!

Can't believe we are so close to a major milestone and haven't grabbed it yet. I'll be happy when the 2008 dates come out so we can book and get back to dreaming of our next cruise!

I hope my disk is here tomorrow, too. Our post office can be as slow as Pony Express sometimes.
And I'm going to a scrapbooking party the first Saturday after the cruise! My very first scrapping party!! Bad news is that I won't have any pics yet, either...but I know I'll learn some great ideas.

You all can quit being jealous of me cruising now. The doctor discovered that I have a broken bone in my foot. Having an MRI next week to confirm. Will be in the cam walker (boot) for the entire cruise. :sad1:

Probably did it when I took the nose-dive over the doggie gate before OUR cruise.

Stacey - No way - Not again? Please stay ON THE COUCH and don't move until it is time to cruise.

We need to break this chain of bad luck for Stacey - Is there such a thing as a "reverse" vodoo doll?????

Good Morning All --- I can't wait to get the DVD/CD from Mark - must stop by the PO tonight and pick them up!!!!!

I need some suggestions - I just found out that the second cousins and new baby will be here on Sunday. We have offered to prepare lunch. I had thought they were not coming for another visit so booked a dive trip (oh well, there will be other gimes).

However, Mother has requested that we not go to a let of trouble, the kids don't "eat our kind of food" and they want "junk food" as it is their vacation. OK you budding chefs, what the heck does that translate to on the grill?

I am not boiling hotdogs in a water heater pan, - any other suggestions?????

From a mom ... that translates to hotdogs, hamburgers or chicken on the grill.

If you are doing the grill just pick up some burgers and hot dogs. Very simple.

Have you ever done crescent dogs in the oven. You wrap hot dogs in crescent rolls and bake. Yummy and very easy.

Pick up a veggie tray, chips and/or pre-made potato salad and you are good to go.

At least I am in the office today so maybe I can sneak in and pirate the milestone.....Unless it is one of te guys, lurking!!!!!!!

And open a can of pork-n-beans. My kids love them. But, my kids like most veggies that I fix. I'm sure they love those even more because of the sugar in them.

Shameless post boosting - Thanks.....I can imagine Sam's reaction to serving hotdogs to guests.....Chicken he may go with. He might go with hotdogs from the FreshMarket - "fresh chicken dogs". Have you ever eaten English hot dogs - very strange, like vienna sausages.....

Does traditional BBQ chicken count?

A favorite of my big kid (aka Mark) as well :lmao: Give him a veggie tray and he is one happy camper!

Thanks.....Good ole chips....I could also get dip. (We love salsa but I bet the old fashioned lipton soup mix dip would qualify as junk food). Our store does a good veggie tray (easy).

Crescent dogs sound different....but I am not sure I want to put the oven on this time of year (hot - hot- hot).]

Sam cooks great turkey burgers.......

So, I'll grab the chicken from your prior post, the chips and veggie tray from Mary, the baked beans (Veggie beans enhaced with BBQ sauce and bourbon...yummy) and then dessert????? Ice Cream....I can make home made ice cream....(notice the problem here....)

Shrimp - that fits doesn't it.....A shrimp ring is simple.....I mean, Jim serves it in his driveway - that is junk food - yes?

There are cannibals in our midst!!!!!

Reminds me of Christopher's favorite joke of the week... (he's always got a joke to tell...)

Why don't cannibals eat clowns?

Because they taste funny.
