More charges have posted to my credit card today. I guess what they were able to get in before I called the CC company. They are up to $124.31 on one card, they went to walmart, kmart and GNC and $21.39 at Kmart again on my other card. Wow..same Kmart store too. I dont know why it still made my stomach sink today when I saw more charges has been posted that day. I have never been thru this before. Both cards are with citibank..what happens? Does anyone here know?

Amanda,

The accounts are closed, right? Citibank should be working with you to get those charges cleared. When it happened to me, Chase security and I went over ALL the charges, I told them which ones I had actually made. (those I had to pay!!) All the thieves' charges went on an affidavit which was sent to me, I signed it, and all those charges were taken off my account.

Did you file a police report? If not, you should do that. Nothing they can do for you, but it helps to have it "on the record". Also, notifiy Equifax (they should notify the other 2 credit agencies for you) and put a *fraud alert* on your credit report. This is especially important since your CC's AND your drivers license were stolen. You want a police report and fraud alerts. Unfortunately, I speak from personal experience. If you want any other info from me, email me!

Susan, that's a really good idea! Those of you that want to go with your family and can swing it school-wise or work-wise, consider this! I guess we will need to pick dates by this November, huh? That way everyone will be happy!

WE are always up for a trip to Epcot...not that either of us are a "mom"....Noticed I did not say I was not "invited".

And yes, I said "we"......another change to go to Food and Wine and I can disappear for a while....unless of course the dates you pick in November are when we are diving in St. Thomas......

Hmmmm, what to think about Hawaii??? Twenty years to get back there, about time .......

We love it...were last there in 2003....renewed our vows on the beach for 25th Anniversary in Lanai....hiked through the volcano on The Big Island...Tok an eco-tour up to Mauna Kea, camped on Kauai in Waimea canyon...found a great brewery (two actually on same island......).....and much more.

Had a fire every night but once I think on our 2003 trip....Prob.the only folk you know that pack long jons to go to Hawaii.

We also were there twice before....Once we took a three night hike down into the crater in Haleakela (bad with spellings)...Absolutely beautiful....there was no one - birdsong everywhere - starts spectacular.....breathtaking, almost alien landscapes...On that trip we also went to Molokai and Kauai for more hiking - this time the "swamp trail"....

First trip, the tourist trip - the 4 large island, Ohau, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island....Could talk about Hawaii all night....

Makes me feel like a "newbie"!! I've only been posting on this thread since October 2005. Someday I really should go back and read all the "stuff" I missed!! :surfweb:

:rotfl2:

Yeah right -- as if that will happen.....

I'll BET you do!!!!

But remember, I really DO have meetings at theme parks... INSIDE the parks, at that! Hmm... we might have plan a ladies day at SW during that trip to make it 'official'... then it won't be a lie!!!!

Karen - When I travel to Orlando and it justifies a stay over, I always book at WDW. Usually cheaper than the convention rates anyway at the Airport. Then I get a "free" walk-around the park of my choice at times....Had some good evenings that way.....Can only take so much of the convention "meet and greet", if you know what I mean.....

Ooooo, that's right! Diana, if you schedule the "ladies" trip in the first half of November, we can all do FOOD & WINE!!!! :woohoo:

When are you diving, Irene?

Good morning everyone!!

All this talk of a mom's trip to WDW has me wishing I could go. Unfortunately, Charley and I celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary in November 2007 and I need to save up for that. I have been playing with the idea of a Wonder cruise. Even have a secret porthole room selected. Then I started thinking about RCCL. Have always wanted to try them and figure this was a good time since we would be doing a 4 day cruise w/o kids. They only require a $200 deposit on a 4 day and we can get a Junior Suite with a balcony for about $100 less than a cat 10 on DCL. Decisions, Decisions. I have to release the dcl room today.

Sharon and I did a Radisson for our 20th. It is a great memory! No kids, just great food, wine, and service.

Go for it!!!

Hey, Irene, you are Hedgie's Mom! Not too mention the breathing furry creatures you may have. When is your St. Thomas trip, is that in 2007 or this year?

When is the guy's trip?

I think you just call it a scuba trip, a hiking trip, a trip to Costa Rica, etc - Have you forgotten all of the "Boys Trips" you have taken?

Not me. Call me odd man out, but I MUCH prefer vacationing with my family. I'd probably be miserable knowing I was doing something that my family LOVED so much and they'd be stuck at home. Mike and I went to WDW once without the kids (but we did take his mom and her dh) and it just wasn't the same without them....I cried when I saw Snow White in the parade b/c that was KT's favorite and I knew she'd dearly love to have been there.

Guess there will be a time for Mike and I to vacation alone, but it won't be until the kids are grown and gone. And me vacationing by myself? or Mike by himself? Probably will never happen.

So no mom's trip for me.....not like I was invited anyway!!

Did you ask the family if THEY wanted you to go. Maybe they will enjoy the time without you!!!

Well, of course. That's why I said early November. Or October, but then there's still a chance of hurricanes. We want NICE weather.

The Chris (DH) had to turn down a business trip to Hawaii because we were doing the DD Cruise. IT would have been his first time but Disney with the kids was and is more fun. He was very bummed.

We are doing the Doc Dance!!!

:dancer: :dancer: party: party:

Just got the docs for our Alaska trip.

They were sitting at the front door right next to Molly and delivered by UPS!!

Just another example that Molly is not a killer dog! :rotfl:

Remember the coveted "Travel Packet" or whatever it was...that not all of us got for the May cruise?? I got one the other day for the September cruise. Had to laugh, they skipped me last time!

Got this from a friend and thought it was cute:
