Having done Tulum once - we enjoyed it - but I think we'd like Xcaret this time if the weather is warm enough in December....

What about the long boat ride over? Mom and Dad DID say (okay, Mom said, and Dad does what he's told) that they'd like to ferry over to the mainland....maybe see Xcaret and Playa del Carmen....what do you think about that idea? Neither one wants to walk alot, they need to find a bench to rest on every so often.

PM me with your e-mail...easier to send pics to the e-mail.

Man that brings back memories of the ruins tour we went on. The whole time I was trying to find a place to sit and rest... with soaking wet (um, I was sweating like a um.. I don't know what) clothes including bum without getting filthy from sitting there wet. LOL Good thing I had my crocs on so atleast my feet didn't hurt. LOL

:guilty: WHAT you mean you dont have my address memorized and cant recite it in the blink of an eye!! Why you!!!!!!:happytv:

I will do even better and shoot you an email that way all you have to do is hit reply :thumbsup2 Thank you! I think I have finally gotten out of depression mode from the end of this cruise and into planning mode for the sept cruise! In a way I am already getting my do over! And I intend to get brunch in at PALO and hopefully that snorkling in at Costa Maya!!!!!! wheee...

You know, I have far too much going through my head right now. I don't know how I went from talking about the ruins tour in Costa Maya to talking about Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, etc.

But somehow, I just know it's all Virgil's fault.

Okay...here's the deal. December cruise. Goes to a few places, but the two that I really don't know what we want to do, mostly because I need to think of Mom and Dad's comfort....

COZUMEL.....did anyone do something they thought was really fun that doesn't involve being out in the sun the whole entire time??

COSTA MAYA.....ditto.....but need info on Ruins.

Thank you thank you thank you

There is a girl in my 0916 thread that is ??? doing David and Ivans tour..here is the thing she will have an 18mnth and a 4 year old with her..I do not know if she will be taking a stroller or not, but to me that seems tough....having done it..what would you say?
I wouldn't do it with kids that young. DS did OK, but he's 11. The tour is long and hot. It's very informative for the adults, but the kids can get bored, although DS did his own exploring for insects and things. At the end of the tour, there are a lot of steps to climb to see the biggest of the ruins. You do come back down these steps to end the tour, but you'd miss out on a lot if you don't go up.

Small something to be aware of; the image in my sig is a bit more than the original and is in it's final place. The text is part of the image so it doesn't take up a whole line for the motto. :)

It is of course free for everyone to steal.

Uh yeah, and it's okay to let you know I'm just a wee bit jealous, right? LOL

Great. Consider it stolen. :rotfl: I'll have to figure out how to add all the stuff to my sig later though.. off to the movies again (Cars yesterday, Over the Hedge today). Darn rain ruined our water park plans today. :(

Sandi thanks for you info. I have also givne her a link to your post.

We are back from The Contempary and nice to see there is a lot of catch up on. That will give me something to do tomorrow for Father's Day.

No great meals to report. We did get to watch the Wishes from the 14th floor last night. It was fun, but lacks something without the music.

Today Lisa and I did the little Sprit boats. Those are fun little toys, something different to make the quick trip a little special.

Ended up having lunch/dinner at Gaylord Palms in the Key West section listening to steel band music. Great seting.

Now time to up pack and just chill out! :cool1:

And I start with a TOP!!!

Armyfam, I got your package today. That was very kind of you to send along the gift and I doubt you know how appropriate it was.

Besides being lime green it reminded you of Korea since you are half Korean. I don't think you know that Lisa is Korean. We adopted her as an infant.

She loved your note and the gift. Just one more reason to remember this cruise for!!! :thumbsup2

Well, maybe you'll have to make the choice to pull Lisa out of gymnastics to further finance your cruises!???!?!? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Did you get Scuba Mom to agree to this? :confused3

I wrote that letter, I sat down every night and wrote what I did each day. You thought that letter was long this weeks from Sunday 6/11- Thursday 6/15 is already over 2,000 words!!!! I like the thought of the 2008 cruise right now but who knows what opportunitys will come up in the next two years.

Wow...He is alive!!! :lmao:

He speaks from Costa Rica.

Actually, he called Sharon Friday night. We will have to wait for his long email for all the details. I'll post it once we have it.

welcome home Jim!

Speaking of welcome home, Has anyone heard from Susan and Rob?

Yes, welcome home Jim!

I've been wondering about Susan and Rob too! You don't suppose they're moving already, are they?
