Good morning everyone!

Wow now we are talking two cruises - we are definately out for that. No way we could afford that much time or money.

I'm really hoping we can as a group agree on one date and that is the date that this thread stays for. If it doesn't work (say the group goes for a Western and we want an Eastern) than we'd move to another thread. I can't see how it would work to try and keep the thread for two different weeks. It wouldn't be fair to all the other cruisers who are sailing those two weeks. Sorry just trying to be the voice of reason.

Those of you who want to do both enjoy - but I think you will need two groups of people to coordinate things for you. KWIM?

It's highly doubtful we'll do a double do-over Unless it REALLY was a birthday suprise... it's fun to dream...I was only teasing John over his choice of "WE" in talking about the double...His camera is going to have to be put to good use over the next two years to save up for one cruise while paying for student loans...

And all this talk about the Eastern is what started the B2B talk in the first place. LOL We're not keen on the Eastern for a variety of reasons- but we could accept it if we were also doing the Western before or after it. LOL

Anyone that really ends up doing the B2B can still be included in this thread- they'd just be doing all the DIS stuff during the week that everyone that is going one week only. Don't kick me out just because we're going 2 weeks!

I'm tired and grumpy- and have 3 tired and grumpy kids. They stayed up late because well, they've been doing that lately this summer but we usually sleep in late too! I stayed up late because sis and I finally narrowed down plans to go to a waterpark about an hour's drive away today- at about 2am... and I stayed up getting stuff ready for the morning since I'm not a morning person (you know- swimsuits, sunscreen, towels, preparing stuff to put in the cooler, etc.) -I went to sleep at almost 5am and set the clock for 8:10am. So we could get there when it opens (so we can have seats!) Get up... the kids are already up (because oldest was excited and woke up to take a shower and woke everyone else up) and in their swimsuits but um.. it's RAINING and expected to rain all day.

Weather so does not cooperate sometimes.

Have you all seen the new Google Earth software?

Check it out, VERY cool!

You have to install the software, but once you do it will show the earth and can move or zoom in where ever you want and give a 3D view. Sweet!!

Now that we're all taking about a do-over, I have a question about moving our booking. We definitely liked our cat. 8 but was thinking that if we were able to snag a SPH room, then we could save some $. Has anyone ever had one of these rooms? Any comments? If I decide to go that route, should I transfer my ressie to a TA now & have them deal w/ trying to snag me one of them?

Kikikaren, did you have a cat. 9? I should have asked you for a comparison to our cat. 8. I got to see Pam's inside room ... not really sure of what cat. it was. Should have asked to see someone's verandah too... it's probably best that I didn't see one of those, though.

I'm just now catching up from 3 days worth of posts, so sorry I didn't reply to this sooner. We've always had a verandah (actually, we've always been in the same cabin!), and I wouldn't want to not have one. It's a nice place to escape or to relax while Erin naps, and it's GREAT for drying those swimsuits. But it also just makes the cabin feel a lot larger. For us, it's definitely worth the extra $$.
