He even said to me last night "Thanks for helping me make a homemade costume"... most of the kids go out and buy stuff... THATS NO FUN" (Maybe the conversation we had the day before about him not appreciating all that we do for him actually sunk in!!!)

That's so sweet. We just had that same discussion with our guys this week. They were punished and had to do yard work all week. Not too happy about that. The little guy, Anthony, said to Augie, "Dad you usually just take the TV away or video games." Gotta hit 'em where they live.

Glad Christopher appreciated all the work you put into the costume. I'll know who to call when we need some creativity around here.

Where is everyone this afternoon? Well, I know where Amanda is, and I'm working today. The library is totally boring; not even much to read on our blabbermouth thread. DH officially starts his vacation today, but I have to wait until 5 pm. It's housecleaning, laundry and packing all weekend .

NEWS UPDATE


Amanda has her stuff (shirts and bags) and she is on her way to Orlando.

Yay!!! That's good news! Otherwise we might never have found her. Let's see, short lady with four kids, no, don't see her. Can you believe she was worried?

Maybe we need the award for most stressed, is there one? Alicia had no school today, but was invited to participate in a taped ballet class at her school. So I had to shuttle her for that. Then we had to buy fake hair (long story), and get everything ready for the recital dress rehearsal tonight. I have to fix her pointe shoes. Kevin is in it too, has he told you guys that? That goes from 4:15 to late out in Rio Rancho, Kevin is taking pictures. Tomorrow, two shows, Alicia dances and changes costumes and hairstyles (hence the fake hair) 22 times! I'm selling flowers. That should all wrap up around 9 tomorrow night. Sunday Kevin is going scuba diving and I am finally going to pack. We leave early Monday.

We also have recital dress rehearsal tonight.(kt has to change one time....and has the same hair!) Tomorrow I clean and do laundry, then my parents come into town. Sunday afternoon is KT's recital. My parents might be staying until Monday (no problem, not like I have to pack or anything!) But, with our lists, we should be ok if we have ONE solid evening of packing. I'd rather not do that Thursday night, but if that's what it has to be, then that's what it has to be.

Sounds like you do need a vacation. Must make sure we attend the talent contest on this trip....we have not done so before.....

This is stupid. Kiki, you were right...it's too much stuff. My feet are killing me, and I haven't even put any clothes into bags yet. Just the carry-ons and all the extra crap.

And then the dog saw the bags and decided to piddle on the floor.



But yes...Diana...you definitely win. But you'll also get more vacation than most of us. Besides, I just remembered....this is ALL YOUR FAULT!

That's the only I.D. that we use....for the ship and the airplane.

I *think* they take down the decorations right before New Year's.
