It's funny....I'll make up questions to ask him, just so I can hear him talk...honest.

From his name he sounds like he is Afrikaans speaking so probably has a much stronger accent than mine. People used to ask me to talk more so they could listen to it, now they probably wish I would shut up.

Now that all the cruise packets are put together and will be on their way to Jim the next step is up to you. Please pick up your packets at one of the following events:

• JB's on Friday night
• Radisson on Friday night (after JB's)
• In the terminal on Saturday
• At the onboard DIS meet 3pm on Saturday

If you cannot make any of these events the packet will be delievered to your room some time during the cruise but I can't guarantee when. After all this is our vacation too. Please make every effort to see us at one of these events and pick up your packet. Thank you!

Thank you so much, we will hopefully see you at the Rad on Friday night, not sure what time we will be getting in now that we are leaving later so DD can go to her graduation ceremony and party.
We are catching a later shuttle to the port 12 noon I thing so will see you at 3pm.

Every cruise I've been on that had a big DIS group with custom t-shirts, I've been approached in the terminal or shortly after boarding and have been asked "where can I buy one of those shirts?"

I have heard (and I don't know if it's true or not) but the cars that have problems at the port have two things in common....#1, they have food in them, #2, the car is parked next to one of the islands with the trees in them. We have always made sure the car was pretty clean, AND we've never parked right next to a tree island. We've never had ants.

We were parked next to a tree island when we got ants.
Haven't had at the Rad so hopefully none this time, the kids always leave snack in the car

That makes sense now. One time I went to Jackson, MS with my parents. We parked my car next to a tree island in the hotel parking lot ... think the front was touching the grass ... and there was an open bag of chips or something on the floor in the front. The next morning we had ants all over the floor in the front. Note to self: don't park near any grass & don't leave any munchies in the car!

Yeah, I've taken that on a couple of cruises as well. Usually don't use it. I pack it, schlep it, unpack it, let it sit for a week enjoying it's own vacation, and then pack it, schlep it and unpack it.

So far the captain has not asked us to dine with him, so I don't feel an ABSOLUTE need to not have wrinkles!!

And when he does I will send DH to the laundry to iron my clothes or call Mousekeeping!!!!

No, because you don't soak the garment in it... just spray it on, a fine mist all over. Don't pull to the point of stretching... just tug at both sides, then top to bottom. I usually take whatever I just sprayed, and 'snap' it in the air like you would when you're folding sheets or towels (hard to explain, but I bet you know what I mean)... do that holding each side (top/bottom/left/right) once or twice. Works like a charm!

I use the stuff ALL THE TIME when I travel for work (which is more often than I'd like to)... but now I've gotten lazy and use it at home when I don't feel like pulling the ironing board out.

I will have to try that, DH likes the kids to wear ironed school uniforms okay with me as long as he does the ironing!!!

Yet another cruise mystery... this is from WESH (Channel 2 here in Orlando)

"A passenger on board the Mariner of the Seas is missing.
The Royal Caribbean ship was en route from Port Canaveral to Coco Cay, the cruise line's private island in the Bahamas. Daniel DePiero, 21, of Augusta, Ga., was last seen late Sunday night.
He told his travel partners that he was heading to bed, but he never made it there.

Royal Caribbean is working with the FBI and Bahamian authorities to try and find him.
So far, an extensive search of the ship has turned up nothing."

I made it safely to somewhere in the boondocks of Illinois. There are chickens and cats and dogs around here. I was so glad when Caleb brought me into the house. I'll be on the plane to Florida this time next week. See you all soon.
