I remember some sort of special when we sailed last July if you rebooked onboard. Is the deal always the same, or does it vary?

We are planning to take a 7-Night Cruise in October 2009, but haven't done anything about it yet. What kind of deposit do they take?

Yeah, the deal is always the same. I think it's 10% discount (?) and $200.00 shipboard credit. And NO FUEL CHARGE if we rebook on this cruise. I heard if oil goes down Disney will lift the surcharge. Here's hoping!

We haven't received our cruise packet from DCL yet. Does everyone else have their's? Should I start calling and bothering them yet?

Where is everyone?? We were doing so good at keeping in touch and now everyone has disappeared.

Only 3 weeks to go. I know I for one am trying to get all my last minute chores done. Almost got the fish extender done....waiting till DD graduates to put a picture on it. Got my FE gifts. Got the suitcase in the bedroom floor putting all the little extras in it so they will be in one location and I am not running all over the house looking for things when we get ready to leave.

For the last 2 days I was running around, doing all the last minute things before vacation, organise our dear neighbors to keep an eye on our house, doing some summer clothes shopping, and like you, spreading everything out on the floor. In exactely 1 week from today, we will be landing in Miami, yiiiiiiiiiiiiiihaaaaaaaaaaa.

Pam, as mentioned before, we have been upgraded, could you please change our room number on your list, we are now staying at 5500.

Gosh, you have the graduation in mind and the vacation, you must be busy as hell. Take care and talk to you all soon again, tomorrow is a holiday in Switzerland and my husband stopped already working, isn't that great, 6 weeks without business calls, phone conferences, meetings and we have him once all for ourselves. Alena is soooo excited to have her Papi around for such a long time.

Andrea...got your cabin number changed! Wow....only 1 more week for you. My fun and hectic schedule begins next week also with all the graduation activities, my birthday, mothers day, then graduation is the 16th and we are going out to eat with my family on the 17th. Then the cruise! I know I am not the only one with so much to do....but I feel like it!

3 weeks from today we are leaving! i am so excited it's not even funny. we haven't started packing yet. we are just getting our summer stuff out and turning our closets over because it's just starting to warm up here in PA. Gotta get crackin' on the suitcase! It's so hard to believe that in 3 weeks, we'll all be sinking our teeth into the most delicious cheeseburgers in the world!!

I took my board recertification exam tonight , so I am now finally free to start working on this vacation! I'm going to try to work on our FE this weekend, but I also have to take 8 days of call in the next 18 days. It will be very hectic!
I'm looking forward to some warm weather. We have possible snow forecasted for tomorrow. Maybe that's what I'll bring to put in the FEs--snowballs!!!
BTW, I have a Palo ressie which I am probably going to cancel. If anyone out there is interested in it, I could see if it can be transferred. I think it is for Saturday at 1800 for 2. Let me know.

And I'm whining about low 60's.
Hey Donna, how's the allergy season in Florida? Next year I'm moving in for a month. Your nephew is SUFFERING. I thought he would be better by now because we've had so much rain, but he's worse than ever. He's allergic to spring. Yup, all of it.
Eyes are swollen shut, face is in a rash, hacking, coughing, wheezing and itching. I think the school thinks we already left for vacation!

Today I am FINDING the matching Disney shirts. That way there's still time for an emergency scramble over to Ebay for replacement parts if I can't find something.

I'm toying with the idea of one extra day and coming home Tuesday instead of Monday. The airfare dropped and I'll actually SAVE money. And since I'm staying at hotel DONNA, the rates are very reasonable. But no towel animals, which is complete bullcrap IMHO hee hee.

We live in Layton, Utah (north of Salt Lake City). We had snow on our roof this morning and there are some flurries. We have been having schizophrenic weather. First it gets up to 70's then it 30's and snow, then 80 and back to 40 and snow. I hope the cherries don't all die this year (again)! We have been suffering with allergies here as well, but then it snows and we get some relief. I hope it will decide to be Spring or Summer soon!

Good morning all!

I'm substitute teaching now that my student teaching is over! I'm officially exhausted! The students have been testing for two weeks now and they are bubbling over with energy -- keep me in your prayers so that I make it to the wedding and eventually the cruise!

Also a bit nervous as today is my big student teaching presentation at 4pm central time. My last undergraduate task! Wahoo!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe we're almost there -- this past few months have flown by at record speeds!

We're making our FE this weekend and hope to go shopping for FE gifts this week too. Just hope I can find and afford something worthwhile.
