it has been the most unbelievable last 10 days. no rain. weather in high 60's and 70's. got my disney cruise purse. Had a hard time getting here but luckily our luggage made it to hotel on sat at 10:30 am. well back to the ship and start drinking.

So glad you're having a great time. I'm just off the 5/5 Med. Was SO envious watching the new cruisers pull up at the terminal as we were awaiting our transport back to the airport. :(
I didn't care for the white Dooney bags but really loved the black wristlet so I got it and I haven't put it down since! My husband also surprised me with a bottle of Chanel 'Chance' which is located right behind the sunglass case!
Before you leave...make sure you try the BBC at the bar. HEAVEN in a glass!!

no mickey bars!!!! The cheese for the omelets not very good. Didnt care for the sausage or hash browns. No krispy kreme donuts. the chocolate donut I had was bland no real taste. The rest of the food great. Had the yachtmans steak first night. Coulndt even cut it with the night. Awful.

The donuts were a disappointment as far as I'm concerned. Like grease balls. Even my kids wouldnt eat them.
I also had the yachtman's steak and had to send it back. Our waiter was a bit put off about it but I honestly couldnt cut it. Then the waiter (condescending!) tried to cut it for me! They did bring me a new one. But i had to order it well done just so I could cut it.

There are no Mickey bars or Mickey pasta. There is no European supplier and they ran out soon after they left Florida. My kids didn't like the donuts either. The seafood including the lobster tails was fabulous though.

All right, blame these boards!! We were on the 5/5 and ordered Mickey Bars everynight before bed...but to be fair, I never had one..but the kids treated them like vitamins...The donuts I couldn't even try, just the look of them was enough for me to say NO...I didn't like any of the pastries offered at breakfast...and would someone please stand up and say NO to those scrambled eggs?? I'm glad I knew I could ask for real butter, I did that on the first night and always had real butter from there on out! Thanks Kendell and Walter!! I always got an omelet or fried eggs b/c I don't know what is in those powdered eggs, but it should be outlawed on a cruise ship!

That is very sad.:sad2:

DH orders one for dessert a lot. DD will be disappointed as well.

we just came off the 5/15 cruise and to be honest, I thought the food was the best of any cruise except our Regent cruise throught the south pacific which was only 300 passengers. Yes, they ran out of mickey bars simply from a logistic standpoint. Its icecream and its too expensive to ship. They have an alternate French version that was just okay.
If you listen to your waiters advice on the best meal on the menu, the food was fantastic. The seafood was good, I agree the steak was not but the waiters tried to tell us that. The pasta was good. Topsiders was bland but we tried not to eat there often. Breakfast was bland and the pasteries were as well but in the med, our port adventures started so early that it was usually a quick bite on the ship then we enjoyed europes strong coffee and pastries on land. The trip was absolutely amazing and if you are about to go on this trip, it will be one of a lifetime. Disney knocked it out of the park on this one.

I had the Yachtman's steak on the EBTA--it was terrible. Cooked well, but very tough. Interestingly, one of the dining heads came to speak with me at lunch the next day....asked about the food, service, etc. I don't know if it was the platinum lanyard or a random chat or what, but I did tell him that no one at the table could even cut the steak much less eat more than a few bites.

OK, I understand no Mickey bars, but no Mickey pasta???? Pasta is easy to ship in!

We need a stickey that says:

Never, ever, get the first night steak! It's been bad on every cruise I've been on. All the rest of the steaks on later menus were just fine (I ate a lot of beef on the EBTA for some reason).

My server said that they're not shipping any food in. They're getting all their food from Europe. I agree with you though. They could ship both the pasta and the Mickey bars. They just don't have the will.

Can't believe there are going to be no Mickey Bars, and if they knew they weren't going to get any in Europe why on earth did they not carry additional stock.

First night for our April 24th cruise two of our table mates did not like their steak, it was too tough and fatty. Mine was okay. Simone, the head server, came over the next night and let us know that our complaint was not the only one...I wonder why the first night steaks aren't as good? They were great the rest of the cruise. Weird.
