Oh..how I was looking forward to a sea day! LOL! The only thing I 'needed' to do was see Disney Dreams, and we saw the 2:00 show. What a great show...I had tears in my eyes, I'm such a sap!
The boys had some activities to do in the club early in the morning, so I got to be lazy. Sat on the verandah, read some more and then picked the kids up so we could go meet Capt. Tom at 12:00 (in Treasurer's Ketch) and get him to sign the trading cards for the boys. They have plenty of trading cards available there for kids, so don't worry about trying to get one beforehand. I have to say, though Capt. Tom didn't have much Disney "Magic" -- he barely cracked a smile and wouldn't even look right at me to take the picture. (I had another chance to meet him later on that night, and he seemed very different then. maybe it was because I was all dressed up, and standing alone for a bit while I was waiting for my DH and boys. I got a big smile then and had a little conversation. Too funny!)
My DH went to another 'lecture' given by the ESPN sportscaster, he enjoyed that a lot -- I found my spot on Deck 10 and did some more relaxing!!
Thursday I spent a lot of time in Shutters, also. I wish they'd come up with a better system of getting your photos. I lost that silly little card they give you TWICE! LOL! They should let you pull your pictures and keep them by cabin #'s until you're ready to buy them. I had them put the pics on my digi cam's memory card on a CD for me ($14.95 and it's a CD-R, so make sure you fill up your memory card before doing this.)
It was semi-formal night. Again, lots of lines in the atrium for pics with the characters and backgrounds. Get there early.
We had a great dinner...I can't stress enough how much we loved our servers!!
After dinner we caught the Family Cabaret Show in Rockin' Bar D. Mike Super...the Illusionist/Magician. Very good show..I wish it were a little longer though! If you get a chance, see Mike Super AND now I can't think of the ventriloquist/magician's name, but he was very funny, too. The kids loved him. The things you can do with a tennis ball! LOL!
Next stop....Castaway Cay!!
