After a day like today I admit I am conflicted about looking forward to the cruise.
On one hand it's a beautiful ship, it's Disney (I mean, HELLO), amazing service, beautiful scenery.
And then you have August 1, where we started mowing the lawn at 8 pm and it was still 97 degrees. An hour later, it's about 1/10th of a degree cooler, we're panting like dogs nearing heat stroke, have weird chafing in embarrassing places and fire ant bites that look like feet acne.
I'm half ready to hop a plane for the Yukon. Just call me Cornelius and get me a Bumble.
So sure...yaaay cruise. But to get there I have to rush through beautiful lovely fall and spring. Oh that is just wackaloon! I'm so torn!
*sigh* oh well...it's nearly Autumn (okay, so technically here that's somewhere around November). I'm sure I'll recoup my tropical spirit somewhere around then. Though it could be as early as tomorrow if I can find that recipe for my favorite DCL drink. Funny how well that works to put things into perspective...
