Thanks pooj, thats a bummer! I heard it on the news last night. It would have been awsome to see it, but we'll be having a great time on the cruise.






I can't believe there is only 16 more days left until we cruise...we have been counting down since Jan 2003!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (when we were going to go on the May 2004 cruise and had to postpone it)...so it still doesn't seem like we are REALLY GOING yet!!! I'm flipping out over here!!! LOL

Yeah, the shuttle launch is a big let down, but we are still going on the cruise. Hopefully we will be able to see it on the launch pad, at least. Even that would be really cool to see. I was afraid that we might miss the launch due to the safety drill anyways.

Well, hopefully we will just as much fun without the launch! I know I plan to!

Unfortunately, NASA will be rolling Discovery back into the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building) from the pad.

I'm so excited that you guys are filling out the questionnaires and sending them to me!!! If everyone participates we could do a really fun "meet and greet". So if you haven't taken the May 15th cruise questionnaire, get it to me asap. It's better if you can answer for ALL of your travellers, that way they get to be part of it too!

Oh no...all you organized people are stressing me out! You're already packed??!! I haven't even got the suitcases down from the garage yet!! I need to get busy!!

We leave in 9 days for the Caribbean Beach Resort and then on to the WONDER!!! My kids think I'm nuts because I've been doing the 'single digit dance' all day!!

I can't wait to meet everyone on the ship!!!

I'm finally DANCIN' I got my Docs by fed ex today!! Woo Hoo. I already have them filled out, except a few spots. I have a few questions to ask about filling them out. But I'm SOOOO happy to finally get them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We finally got ours too. Our travel agent had them and was adding stuff to them. She sent each of my girls a tshirt from the disney store with their favorite characters on them. They were so excited. Now I've just got to fill everything out

Oh yea I guess I should start thinking about that packing thing too ughhhh

Have I started packing? uh, um, er....no. But I do have my passports (finally) and tickets and stuff altogether.

Yeah...seems like we've all received our Docs now!!! Wow, your TA is great...sending Tshirts and all!!

I'm not sure when/where to meet up???? I've heard that the first day is CRAZY to try to meet up, especially around the sail away party. Does anyone have any suggestions??? I kinda thought that the first day would be the best, especially since its a short cruise and all.

I can't wait to be on the Ship!!! Or even at Disney two days before!!! 11 days until i'm at Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeay!!!! Everyone has their docs and soon we will all be boarding the ship. I would love to meet all of you. I have really had alot of fun chatting with all of you. You all are alot more excited about this trip than my husband...he thinks Im nuts. Of course this is the same man that said that if Mickey were real, I would have left him for Mickey by now. I don't think so, I just have to have my yearly disney fix. When my husband suggested that we do something different for vacation this year and I told him that we were going on a cruise he got excited...then I told him it was the Disney cruise and he just laughed and said why didn't I know. He loves Disney too but not nearly like I do!!!

Anyways...We can meet anytime you all want to. We are coming in the night before and staying at the CB. Our flight comes in at 6:20 (Southwest), from Norfolk, VA. I figure that it will take at least an hour and a half to get to the resort and check in. Then we will probably grab a bite to eat and head for the pool for a while just to unwind from all of the craziness of traveling. I plan to head to the port around 9am. The rental car is supposed to pick us up at 9am so we should be at the port by 10:30...I guess(not sure). I'm up for about anything let me know. Will be fun to see who we've been talking to all these months!!!

I am really enjoying your answers to the questionnaires --- KEEP 'EM COMING!!! (tee hee, I have an unfair advantage --- but I promise to share them with you when we all meet)

We are coming in the night before, but our plane lands at midnight. So for us, we'll have to make sure to meet somewhere on the ship. I should look at my navigators and see when there might be some downtime (ha ha).

I'll post on the main board to get suggestions for a good time and place to meet up.

How about a Dis-Meet at 3:00pm on the first day in the Promenade Lounge. I did a poll on the main board and this seems to be a popular way to do the DIS-meet. That way everyone has had a chance to settle, get their ressies done, and eat their lunch?

You can do SPA ressies too! And excursions...even buy gifts! It's all new! It's the new DCL web site...it just came up yesterday! Just go to www.disneycruise.com and enter in your Disney confirmation number...you shouldn't need to go through your TA, the confirmation number is on your cruise documents!!! Book away!!!!
