I'm all set to cruise now! hahahaha...I can't believe we are actually going on the Disney Cruise...after 2 1/2 years planning this...it finally ALMOST feels real! :cool1: i can't imagine how I'm going to be dealing when we only have a few days left!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just can't stand the wait, after a whole year of planning , we are down to two months!!! :Pinkbounc

:cool1: :sunny: See you all at the sail away party ! :sunny: :cool1:

Hi. Although I WISH I were on your cruise, I'm writing for a friend!

Their family of five will be on the 5/15 Wonder. They want to rent a room at the Atlantis to enjoy the pools, etc. But they are a family of 5 so they would need a 5th wristband. Is anyone planning on doing the same and need to split a second room OR have an extra wristband avail that they could buy?

:sunny: Hey Fellow Wonder Cruisers :sunny:
After our cruise, our flight doesn't leave from MCO till 4:00.
We are considering driving to Universal to have lunch at Emeril's and walk around before our flight home.
OR- should we just drive to Downtown Disney for our last few hours in Orlando?
Is Downtown Disney closer to MCO than Universal?
:confused3 what should we do? :confused3

We'll be heading to the Kennedy Space Center after the cruise and then spending a couple days at the Nickelodeon Hotel before heading back to California. Does anyone know how far the Nick Hotel is from Downtown Disney....is it close enough to go spend some time there? Hadn't thought about the Universal area but maybe that will be an option for us too!

Tomorrow's April 1st...we're finally able to say we're going on vacation NEXT MONTH!!! April 1st makes it 39 days and counting for us!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hey fellow cruisers!!

I just got word that NASA is going to start selling tickets to the shuttle launch on Monday, April 4th. They are officially targeting May 15th at 3:50pm for the launch....so, weather permitting...it'll be a go!!! What an incredible view we will have!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I'm wondering how that's going to work with the safety drill...I'll post a question on the main forum and see if I can get suggestions for us.

Sharon

hmmm...That would be nice if it does work out. I thought I heard on the news last night (in Tampa, FL) that NASA would not be able to launch next month like planned...but I never heard the reason why!

43 days to go!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

I just looked up on Yahoo news and it says that there may be a delay because of paperwork...but, they're still going to try for the 15th. I hope they get it worked out!

That would be really cool if it does launch on the 15th!!! Lets keep our fingers crossed!!!!!! If it is at 3:50, that is RIGHT before the lifeboat drill, right? I would think that any of the outside stations would be able to see this, but what about the people inside?? I think if people know about it, they'll all want to be on deck 10 watching it! There might be some late people to the lifeboat drill!

42 days until we are cruisin'!!! :cool1:

Has anyone started to pack yet?????????????

Hi Cruise Mates!!!

I just noticed on the other cruise board that someone on the 5/5 cruise received their docs today!!! It won't be long now before it's our turn!!

Just wondering...has anyone booked any Nassau excursions yet?

How exactly is the DRESS code for the dinners?? I've never really paid much attention to those threads. HELP!!!

:cool1:

Hi there! I've been lurking for awhile and now that my cruise is paid for and my flights are booked it's official!

WE'RE CRUISING!

Here's our info: It will be my husband Doug and I (Lauri) and our 6 year old DS (Patrick).

I tend to be on the shy side...but I make up for it by being a goofball.

I'm not sure of our room number. I've changed plans on this trip, so the room has changed as well.

I hope this ends up being a fantastic trip for all of us. Wish me luck, so far I've kept this a secret from my DS. I'm hoping I can contain myself until we reach the ship!

I hope to meet you all!

:flower: Welcome Aboard, YippySkippy!! :flower:

Maybe your son will be in the kids club with my son & daughter
who are five years old !!

Welcome YippySkippy!! :cool1: That is awsome that you are able to keep this a secret!!! I would NEVER be able to keep it a secret from my DS!!

I heard on the news today that the Shuttle is still planned to take off on 5/15! They have met 7 of the 15 requirements to take off that date! I'll keep ya'll posted!

37 days until the CRUISE!!! :cool1: :flower:

Hi we are going on the 4 day cruise on May 15th we are from the UK and this will be our first disney cruise so we do not know what to expect you neve know we may meet up with you ::MickeyMo

Hi! only 35 days to go...I can't wait and I think the kids think Im crazy watching the travel channel shows that we Tivo'ed and the cruise dvd over and over again. This is our first cruise. There are 4 of us going, myself husband, 14yr old and 8yr old.

I tried to book a room at the port several weeks ago and couldn't because of the shuttle launch so we are staying at cb. The shuttle should be way cool

See you all in 35 days!!!!

It didn't occur to me that there would be a problem booking a room in Cape Canaveral (didn't know about the shuttle launch until recently).

Any suggestions on where else to book? I'm concerned that if I book near the airport that the traffic may be bad in the morning to get to Cape Canaveral.

We fly in at around 11:30 pm the night before. Have I planned poorly? I don't know Florida very well, so I'm not sure what the closest cities might be to look for other hotel bookings.

Sorry to ramble. I'm just worried that I've messed up already.

Our flight is arriving into orlando the evening before at 6:20 and staying at the Carribean Beach Resort on property and while I have a rental car lined up, I too am not sure that we really want to do that. I have thought about just using Disney Transfers to and from the port since we will be going back to Port Orleans for 2 nights after the cruise. We have to go back to Epcot and ride Mission Space again. It only takes about an hour from what I understand to get from CB to port so I plan on leaving around 9am to get to the port by 10am. Hopefully traffic wont be an issue on Sunday morning but since we are leaving so early, I dont think we will have any problems since you cant even get into the terminal until 10:00, (I think). I'm also not sure about the time that the transfers leave the resorts and arrive into the port

Hi there are you from the UK only we arrive at 3pm the day before the cruise and also staying at the Caribbean beach resort we do not have a rental car but we have been told that we can book a transfer bus from the said hotel to the port because after the cruise we are staying at the Wyndham Palace hotel for a further 2 weeks do you have any information on the transer i would be very grateful if you can hepl in any way
