Awesome trip report!!! I keep wavering between another WDW trip or a Disney cruise---I requested a quote for May from Small World Vacations!!! Either way it turns out, it will certainly be magical!!!! ;) Sounds like you two had a great time--thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the great report and the great photos
can't wait of the rest

Fantastic trip report and website! Thank you for sharing with us!

Kelly

PS - The 7 night Eastern is awesome - if you love the 4 day (which you did) you are going to LOVE the 7 night!

Thanks for the great report! It sounds like you and your son had a great time! My family is planning a trip October 6th on Wonder for our first Disney cruise. It doesn't sound like your Brandon spent that much time in the kids club.....I have 2 sons Brandon 12 and Austin 8. I was worried that I would hardly see them because they would be in the kids club the whole time. Were the activities that they had planned for kids fun? What was your son's opinion? I am so excited because we have a verandah too and hearing how much you enjoyed yours I'm ready to relax!!! Thanks for any tips you can give me.

Ok, finally put up the last page. I forgot about it :rolleyes1 Not really any pictures for that day...just info on the last day and getting the luggage and all that good stuff!!

Last day of cruise

There were alot of cool activites for the kids, just some of them ended up being during the first dinner. When i had first booked the cruise, he was 7-8 years old. I think he could have handled the 2nd dinner, and had time to do some of the "older" activities planned during the main dinner time frame. Next cruise we will have late seating, and he should have more time to have fun in the kids clubs. He said he enjoyed the things that he went to, and wished that he had more time to play in there. He said he plans to spend more time on the 7 day for sure!

Thanks goofgygal for your report. I felt like I was on the cruise with you. You did an awesome job. I read trip reports but I need visuals (don't have a very good imagination  ), you did that with story, plus picture so it was easy to follow along (thank you!)

Question- So you didn't go to Atlantis is that right?

Thank you :goodvibes

No we didnt go to Atlantis. In 2001 when i was on an adult only cruise we went to Atlantis. We were with a couple that had won a free stay there. They only used the room for the day...but we got to go in the room, and also walked around the aquarium, and went into the casino. This trip we decided to stay close to or on the ship.

goofygal, having a verandah, did the sun wake you up in the morning? Did you hear "slamming doors" from your neighbors with verandahs?

I'm trying to decide if I want one or not with with my (then) 3 year old. He likes dark and quiet.

I dont remember the sun bothering us. we kept the curtains closed in the evening, and even brought clothes pins to use just incase the sun bothered us. But we never took them out of the suitcase. PLUS...there is a divider curtain, that separates the tv/couch/verandah area from the bed/bathroom area. This was nice when taking an afternoon nap!

I dont remember hearing "slamming doors" from the verandahs. I never saw the neighbors on one side of us on theirs, but the other side (the smokers) were in and out just as much as we were. The doors dont slam shut really hard or loud, so that wasnt a problem.

I have a verandah booked for our next cruise. we booked a may 2006 cruise, waiting for 2007 dates to be announced so we can switch them.

Awesome trip report... I have the same room on the Easter 2006 Magic cruise! How cool is that??? I'm a single Mom with a DS (6 by then) and I LOVED getting your view since I'll be doing so much alone as well! May I ask... what type of camera do you have? That's my Christmas present to myself to get ready for our upcoming dream trip!! :boat: :fish:

I bought myself this camera as a christmas/new years gift! LOL 3 years ago. Its a Kodak Easy Share DX 4330. I LOVE it!!I know they have better, newer versions (which i would get), but i think the Kodak Easy Share cameras with the docking stations are SOO easy to use!! Have fun on your cruise!!!
