Alright ladies, I'm stumped. I can't figure out how to put the month tabs on my cards. Any ideas?

I did a circle punch and taped the bottom half of it to the back of the card! does that help?

this is what I have so far for my Oct group. I think I will put some ribbon on it somewhere. The candy corn in the middle is paper pieced (made out of 3 circled and cut out, LOL) and pop dotted. I love the paper--the pic doesn't do it justice.

i did end up putting some black candy corn ribbon across the bottom, right above the punch.

Makes perfect sense - but how did you get the October part on there?

actually, I stamped 12 Octobers spread out on the paper, and then turned the circle punch upside down so I could see where I was punching it out.

it just happened to work out that my stamp worked perfectly w/the circle punch, but if it didn't, i was going to just print out octobers on the computer to get a font/size that would work w/my punch! HTH!

For December I printed it out and folded it over so it was a rectangle.
Other ones I stamped the month name on it. I have two different monthly stamp sets (now, thanks to this swap) so that they didn't all look the same. Some I just used the ink, others I heat embossed. A few are matching shapes, others I used the fabulous findings cart to make them. Guess I could go take pictures of them.

holy cow guys! everything is looking so good! i'm not sure mine are that great? i'm using a stamp for my tabs for the months. i bought it just for this swap. and i'm using the sizzix tab for the top. hope mine come out ok. i only have one set done.

So cute AWM! Holly, your stuff is always cute, I am sure these will be too! I have my watermelons cut for August, now I just need to stickle them. November's proto-type is nearly done, the inked parts are inked, just need to figure out the tab.

Yeah that helps a lot! I think I was over-thinking things WAY too much! I don't have any month stamps so I will have to go the printed route but I own a ton of fonts so I'm bound to come up with something good.
