4th of July?

Thanks. We hope to be there too (arriving from MCO early evening). I don't see that the HS fireworks are posted on the official park schedule. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Many times they are the last to post--- I did a google search , and found a ton of websites that listed the schedule
10:15pm with a "rock n roll " theme---- "Fantasmic" at 11pm

The fireworks in MK are incredible! They are in the round! It's insanely busy and getting out of the park afterwards is a mess, but...we've loved it! Although, I don't think I could get my DH or kids to do it again (we've done it twice now).

Has anyone been during 4th of July? Any suggestions?

Here is my planned schedule if you want the FULL,and I mean FULL experience!lol:)

July 3
Watch "Disney's Celebrate America" inside MK.(9:00 PM)

July 4
Rope Drop @ Magic Kingdom

Take pictures in Liberty Square

Ride the Liberty Belle

Do the Hall of Presidents

Lunch @ Columbia Harbour House

Monorail to Epcot

Catch a VoL 4th of July concert @ America Gardens

Watch The American Adventure

Take Pictures of Betsy Ross,Ben Franklin,Colonial Mickey,Donald and Goofy

Watch a Boston tribute band show @ America Gardens(tie in-the Boston Tea Party:))

Walk through the UK wearing an "I'm Celebrating" button reading "VICTORY! WE BEAT YA'LL!"(OK,just kidding on this one!):)

Monorail to TTC and watch "Disney's Celebrate America"(Great view of the 360 degree and Mirror Fireworks!)(9:00 PM)

Monorail to Epcot and watch ROE/ "The Heartbeat of Freedom"(10:00 PM)

Walk to Shipwreck Beach and watch the last part of DHS' "Rockin' 4th of July"(starts at 10:15 PM):)

The parks will be ridiculous. You will not have tons of personal space especially during fireworks. That said, I braved MK on the 4th last year and plan to do it again this year! Just go in with reasonable expectations and use FP wisely. Keep hydrated and you will be fine.

Now THAT is what I call a salute to all nations but mostly America!

Count us in too! We've never seen any of the 4th of July fireworks - I have a lunch adr & a dinner adr at MK on July 4th so our plan is rope drop & take it easy have our 3 FP set up & we will just take it slow.

We've been to MK on the 4th and while it was amazing to do once, I doubt I would ever do it again. The fireworks were incredible but the heat and the crowds were merciless lol. Sounds like you know what you're getting into, so I'm sure as long as you know what to expect you'll have a great time :)

:smickey: Doing MK 7/3 Epcot 7/4 ready for the heat and the madness

This is our plan for now as well. Can't say it won't change though. We have a late dinner reservation at The Plaza on July 3rd and plans to eat at EPCOT on July 4th so it sounds pretty reasonable for us. Not sure we're quite ready for the heat or crowds but the plan is to build up some tolerance with our Maryland weather between now and then...so what's that two more weeks? O M G!

We did MK one fourth like 20 years ago and it wasn't that bad then but more people now. We have BOG breakfast then dinner at Via Napoli. Really looking forward to seeing illuminations and fireworks there.
