4th of July

[Certifiable WDW Nut]

We are thinking of splitting our 6/29 - 7/5 vacation up between WDW and either VB or HH. We would spend the later part of the week either at VB or HH and was wondering what 4th of July activities there are at either location. Fireworks are a big thing for me. Does either site have a fireworks show? Any other events on the 4th? Thanks.

HH has a great fireworks display on the 4th. They are fired from a barge anchored right behind the resort and may be enjoyed from all locations at the resort or from the shopping area at Shelter Cove across the marina.

There are also activites throughout the day at the beach, pool and resort. There is usually a family cookout in the evening available.

If you want to try HH at that time, you better get your name on the wait list, as the resort usually fills up very early.

That is exactly what my family is doing this year. We will be at HH from 7-1 through 7-4. We leave on 7-5 and travel down to OKW for a stay that will end on 7-12.

If you do want to get to HH for that time period, Doc is absolutely right. You better call ASAP as that is the very definition of "prime time" for HH.
