4th of July Suggestion

Just got back from MK to see the Fireworks for the 3rd. After tonight I don't think I will make a return trip. A good majority of people started setting up camp at 6:00 for fireworks and then it got to the point where it was just flat out insane by 7:30 and what I felt became a safety risk as numerous tempers started to rise up due to the fact that nobody could get anywhere in the hub or around the hub. There were adults stepping on infants everywhere. There was no CM's anyone in the hub to be seen, they were all on the bridges making sure there was two lanes of traffic but nobody was moving.

I realize I didn't know what to expect as this is my first trip to WDW in July (normally go in early June) but I never seen the park that insane in all the trips I have been to MK. The app says the crowd was a 7/10 maybe early in the day but in the early evening it had to be pushing at least 9.

The fireworks were awesome but the atmosphere was too intense for me and my family. Now I am second guessing myself going to Epcot for the 4th even though we have a FP for the fireworks.

Yup, even if there was a police officer around nothing they could do because of the sea of humanity.
