our tradition is to stick close to home with industrial sprinklers and hoses at the ready. despite fireworks being entirely illegal and crazy unsafe in our heavily wooded region, due to our proximity to the adjacent state (where they are not) thoughtless/mindless people have already been illegaly setting them off this weekend and will contine to do so for at least another week
