4th of July good? Bad??

So we have done the 4th at WDW and just a note I love people and crowds and more people i know I am not well. So do they do anything special,fireworks,shows, parades. I am planning on staying at the DLH, finally!. Do they do anything special?.
We where going to do this as part of our WDW and Dl on the same trip In Oct, but decided to split them up. So any good pointer!

I went this past Fourth of July. Crowds wernt as bad as I expected. Pretty much a basic day. Night time was a different story. It packed in really fast before the fireworks started.

Only thing special is the fireworks. The parade is the usual parade which should be Mickeys sound sational

I was there this 4th of July also, and no, the crowds weren't bad, and the day was amazing. The Voices of Liberty performed before Great Moments With M. Lincoln and before the flag retreat. The Dapper Dans sang during flag retreat and teh Marine band played. It was lovely. The fireworks display for the 4th was absolutely amazing (and viewable each night from the 1st through the 4th). I though it was just incredible. The crowds did increase in the evening, but it still wasn't the most crowded I've seen the park.

Thats good to hear, i am glad to here they do something with the fireworks i hope they do a parade to for 2013
