4th of July Fireworks

After watching the fireworks in our small town, I made a promise to my DS (14) that we would go to WDW for next 4th of July.

We've seen Wishes and Illuminations. Does Disney do anything differently for the 4th?

I just changed our arrangements from a 1BR to a Studio at BCV next April so that we can go twice next year. Will miss the large tub but I'll manage. Now if I can just find someone at TTS selling 50 points at BCV Feb UY!

I loved it so much I'm doing it again. Last year we seen the fireworks at MK on the 3rd (less crowded) and we went to HS on the 4th (special only on the 4th fireworks). They did it again like that this year. They didn't announce it till a few weeks before keep your options open.
Well were doing it again next year. My birthday is the 4th of July and I'm hoping they will extend celebrate one more year. We take a family trip every 2 years. DON'T MISS IT.

Went to Ohana's on the 3rd for the preview show, had a MK view table was AWESOME! Then watched EPCOT show from our Balcony at BWV on the 4th, was really great.

DHS does fireworks 2x a year. 4th of July and NYE -- that's where you'll find me if I'm in WDW. I love the preview of MK on the 3rd from the beach at the Poly. It is wonderful.

Where do you watch the DHS fireworks from?

We have gone to WDW for July4th 3 out of the past 4 years. The fireworsk for the 4th are displayed on the 3rd and 4th at MK, only on the 4th at EP and DHS. All of the firework shows are a big step up over the regular displays.

As for DHS, the best viewing is in front of the hat or along the main entry street.

I loved the way the lit up the castle on the 4th. Large blue field with stars and stripes. We were there over that weekend and it was only like that on the night of the 4th.

It was so crowed MK closed to access at 7pm! Too many people to let more in!

despite hating the heat and humdity - though about getting a blt studio for July 4th.

of course that might mean mK view and that is too expensive for my taste
