4th of July Fireworks! - in San Diego

My family will be ending our Southern California trip in San Diego on the 4th of July next year.

Is there a hotel that would be a good choice to stay at to see fireworks on Independence day?

This is not a hotel but The San Diego County Fair ends on that night with a great fireworks show. Lee Greenwood is usually there too and does a patriotic show with tributes to the San Diego Military. The fair is also a lot of fun!

Stay away from Fairfield Inn & Suites at Mission Valley. Not a good place.
