4th of July, day at sea on the Fantasy...expect anything special?

We will be on the Fantasy next June-July in the Caribbean for 9 nights. July 4 will be an "at sea" day. Was wondering if DCL does anything special with this celebration, especially if fireworks are already shot off for pirates night (that night has not been announced as yet, either before or after the 4th)? Appreciate your experiences.

I was on the Magic in Reykjavik on July 4th a few years ago. Characters were in their red, white, and blue, Americana outfits. There was a deck party (similar to sail away party). There were red, white, and blue muffins at breakfast. We were overnighting in Reykjavik so no fireworks because we were docked. Don’t know if there would’ve been otherwise.

We’re on that cruise too, hoping there will be a special 4th of July firework show.

We were on the 2018 11-night So. Caribbean cruise for a July 4th day at sea. The characters had Americana outfits, there was red, white and blue bunting in the atrium, some special foods, and cast members definitely acknowledged the holiday to passengers. Some passengers decorated their doors and wore special clothing for the holiday. There was a special fireworks and deck show that night. We really enjoyed it. Our favorite cruise to date!

That fireworks show was in addition to the pirate night fireworks?

We just got off the June 30th to July 6th cruise on the Fantasy. On the 4th of July, while the afternoon show was on , they passed out Mickey soft pretzels and Mickey ice cream bars and little american flags.

My family and I are on that cruise as well and also sailed on the 11-night Southern in 2018. In addition to what the folks have posted above, the main lobby and other public spaces had patriotic bunting and other decorations. It was very festive.
