Hi everyone!
I am just getting way to excited about going 7/1-7/11 :cool1: !! Anyone else going at this time??

:cool2: We are staying at the beach club and are thinking about not going to the parks on the 4th...just watching the fireworks in epcot from our hotel...what do you think? Do you think the fireworks are worth the crowds??

I went this same week years ago...but sadly I can't remember what we did on the 4th (it must be in the blonde in me ;) )

We will be there June 26-July4. We will miss the 4th fireworks, but hopefully not too crowded. We will be at Pop 1st 4 then AKL second 4! Can't wait! Cindy

We have been there 4th of July for the past couple of years. I definitely think the parks are the place to be !! We have done Epcot and MK and would not hesitate to do it again despite the crowds (and HEAT !!)!! If you can handle crowds and see it as a big party, then go for it !! If not, hang out at the resort and enjoy the view ! party:

We'll be there July 1st - 9th staying at the BC also. Haven't decided yet on a park for the fireworks or watching it from the beach. We'll see.

the past couple of years we have gone to mgm on the 4th. still very manageable. Last year we went to mgm in the morning and then switched over to epcot at night. I have been told never to bother with mk on the 4th. we thought epcot's fireworks were awesome.

We'll be in The World from July 2-20.

We're spending the first couple nights at the Contemporary -- anticipating that we will want to see the fireworks in the MK and have an easier time getting "home" after!

Then on the 5th, we're moving to our real home, at the Board Walk Villas :goodvibes

In years past, they have sometimes run the "special" MK fireworks on two or three consecutive nights, and I'm hoping they'll do that again this year, so we can maybe see them on the 3rd, and hop over to Epcot on the 4th.

We're at BCV 7/2-7/8. We may hit MK early, leave afternoon, and come back at night. MK stays open until 1am that night, even though no EMH.

We went a few years ago around July 4th (my wife's birthday is July 2nd).

Compared to other times of the year we've gone, we really didn't like the seemingly enormous crowds. We haven't gone back around that holiday since.

We're going too--all 14 of us!! We'll be there from July 1-8, staying at CSR. :cheer2: We'll be with the rest of the  crazy  people braving the crowds at the MK. :crowded:

Does anyone know how busy the crowds are during the rest of the week? We made it through Easter/Spring Break week last year. Everyone warned us that the crowds would be unreal, but it wasn't bad!!

Oh yeah I forgot about the crowds later in the week....How bad to you think the crowds for Expedition Everest will be? Do you think they will be much worse due to the 4th's influx of people??

I really hope not....I am dying to go on that ride!!! :woohoo:

We'll be there! :thumbsup2
We are skipping the main parks on the 4th though ~ we just don't want to attempt to brave the crowds that day, LOL :crowded:

We'll be at WDW from July 2 ~ July 8.
On the 4th, we have ADRs for breakfast at 'Ohana with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto (I'm so excited about this, LOL), then we're going to spend a good part of the day at DisneyQuest and DTD (shopping) before heading over to the Boardwalk in the evening to see the fireworks pixiedust:
