499 Days from last day of trip?

I called today to make reservations for a planned trip at the Campground from 2 April - 8 April 2016. IT is 499 days from 2 April. I was informed that it is based on the last day of the trip not the first. Is that correct or do I need to call back and get a different agent?

The booking system might not allow him/her to complete your reservation. I imagine their system is similar to us using MDE and trying to book fast passes too far out. But I have found so much descripancy with CM and a second phone call never hurts. I always ask twice and a second CM if it is something important. Sometimes it just depends on who you ask.

I decided to take no chances and book our Trip for January 2016 the day that darn article about throw away rooms started circulating. The Facebook shares on that alone got me worried and all that did was inform the uniformed.

Unless a change has been made, 499 days from today you can book. 499 days from tomorrow would require you to book tomorrow not today. You can book day by day if you want to be assured of getting all the days of your stay or just book the entire stay 499 days away from the last day of the stay.

Clear as mud but I do understand what you are saying. I will just wait the few extra days. It isn't a week before or after Easter and even then this far out I am probably still good. I was just excited to do this. Family vacation with 12 people (I am having to get 2 sites). I may go next year but for now this is my next Disney trip.
