497 BWV Points for Transfer at $16 per point

Sorry, but I'm not interested in renting, just transfer. I did look and there's plenty of availability for what you want, so you should have no problem getting together with someone renting out points.

I've been asked about a smaller transfer. 300 would be about the smallest I would consider at this time. You can always bank what you don't need in this use year.

I'm still getting rental requests. I'm not interested in that at this time. If I don't get a transfer done, I'll bank and possibly rent next year.

My home is AKV. If someone transfers points to another, are they considered points for the home resort that’s being tranferred in? So in this case, would it show under my membership as points good for BWV, therefore, giving me full control and allowing me to book at 11 months? Also, are they for specific use year and need to be used by certain date? Can they be banked if not used? Thanks in advance.

Good questions, but I don’t have the answers. I’ve only rented, never transferred. I’ll do a little research.

I asked your question over on the DVC Member Services Forum. You can take a look at the answers there, but looks like it's just as if you own the Resort that the points were acquired from. My points are Jun 2020, so once banked, good to May of 2022 with an 11 month window at BWV and 7 elsewhere. Dont know exactly how they show up online, but evidently there has been a fairly recent change where you can do everything online. Of course, it would probably be good to call Member Services prior and go through your exact case prior to doing any transfer since it can't be reversed.
