Hi all,

I'm new today, but you all are gonna be seeing alot of me here. :hyper:

What do you all think of this.?

Disney-com is still advertising the $49/night rate for the AP Best rate up until Feb 5TH or so. I will be arriving on Feb 1st - the 5th. Because I can't book (or I didn't book 60 days out), I have to pay a price of $79/night......even though they are still advertising the $49 rate on the passholder section of disney-com
Heck, you cant even get that rate anymore cause its within 60 days, so why do they still advertise it.??

This bums me out, bigtime. If no new rates come out I'm probably gonna stay off property.

That's disney..they like to offer those rates, then none are ever available to passholders. We are tired of disney playing games with room rates so we stay elsewhere often.

It's very frustrating. To see that great price, but not be able to get it. Then to have to stay off-prop. I'd much rather stay on-prop, but.......we'll have to see.

believe me we have tried for two days now to get them to give us that rate and nope..wont do it....and they say they have nothing out past february or april right now..you will just have to wait till after that point....its like right there for you to reach out and grab it but nope..sorry you cant have it...blah blah blah..

Man that stinks.......you would think that if they advertise the rate, they would have to honor it....but what Disney does is only block off "X" number of rooms per resort for each promotional offer.

They do need to update their website and keep it current. However, I have the $49 rate for Feb. 2 for 3 nights and am happy. I booked my room at $59 a night within my window, then WDW reduced my rate, as they advertise under their BRP, to $49 and refunded me the difference and I didn't have to do anything to get this rate. I, of course, added a few days on at this rate while the window was still open. When the rate dropped to $49, there was still time for folks to book it, because that was how I added more days, i.e., before the 60 day window.
