We found a $49 each way airfare on Airtran from Baltimore to Tampa and decided to take our first trip home! Our original first trip was to our home resort SSR in December, but we had a few points left so we are going to Old Key West for three nights in June!!! We can't wait. Our 2 year old will experience Walt Disney World for the first time!!!

Fantastic airfare!!!!!!!! What airlines?
Have a wonderful trip and enjoy every moment of experiencing Disney through the eyes of your child. As a parent, of now adults, who literally grew up taking WDW vacations; I can tell you seeing WDW through your child's eyes is truely priceless and magical!

What an awesome rate! We are taking our DS for his 2nd Birthday in June. We were there for his first last year. You are going to love it, looking at WDW through a little-one's eyes!

Wow ! Phenominal rate ! I'm tempted to drive to Baltimore just to get this low fare ! I think the lowest we ever got was $130 pp to Tampa back in '00.
Hope your 2 year old just falls in love with WDW ! This is how old my youngest was when she first went to WDW. My kids are now 11, 13 & 17-----they always say "you raised us right, mom" when it comes to vacationing in and appreciating WDW !
Have fun ! :jumping1:

What are the details??? I know people who are desparately trying to get home without spending the airfare from NY.

I found the fare on the Airtran.com web site from Baltimore to Tampa. Orlando was available on Southwest but the times were all wrong (late arrival/early departure). These flights are great arrive at 10 am and depart at 6 pm. Not sure if NY is available with these rates although both Airtran and Southwest fly out of severl NY cities. June was the only month I could find the fares, they all went up in July. All of the pieces just fell into place.

We've been training him right. He gets very excited anytime he sees a picture of Mickey and shouts out "Mickey Mouse"! We are more excited about seeing Matthew's reaction than anything else!

I just booked this fare this morning on Southwest!! We're Providence to Tampa!

Instead of going home though, we're going to Busch Gardens with our AP's... Now if only Disney would give us at least the Florida Resident discount, we'd have gone home!!!

But, enjoy your trip home, it will be fantastic!!

Does it come with or without the parachute! They may charge more for the parachute without telling you until you get on the plane.;) ;)
