48 hours until we know!!

so what will everyone's cut off amount be?? we will be doing the eastbound repo, IF the price is under $2000 per person. i'm going to be sooo disappointed if the prices are higher than that on the first day.

I haven't come up with a cut off amount. If the price is more than I expect, I'll look at cutting out the extras I'm planning.

1 or 2 nights precruise instead of 4
Only 1 day for both DL parks instead of 2
No tour of LA
no Fantasmic buffet balcony
no onsite meals, only IHOP, McDonalds...
cat. 11 cabin instead of cat.9

And no WDW after the cruise:scared: :scared: :scared:

what Category are you wanting to book? Three years ago when the 2005 repo cruises opened for booking it was possible to book cat 9, 10 or 11 for under $2,000 per person. But with three years of increased fuel costs, etc. I'm not sure if cat 9 would still be under $2,000 per person on day one of bookings.

Right now I haven't set a cutoff amount. DH really wants a cat 7 if we can get one on deck 6 or 7. So I'm going to book it, see what it costs, and then see if I can set business goals that will increase my income accordingly.

So I guess I'm approaching this a tad bit differently. :)

I would love to do the repo, but my kids have schools both in may and September, I guess I will have to wait until they are in college

:yay: The time is getting closer!!! :yay:

I trust we will be happy with the news tomorrow!!! ;)

Is it better to go thru a TA or call DCL direct? Which would give best price? Any TA that anyone would recommend?

I am probably the only one, but I want to see the dates for the Magic after she returns from CA (specifically, September)! I hope that you all who are wanting to book for the repo and Riveria cruises get what you want! :thumbsup2

Wether or not you booked with points. Does anyone remember what the point chart was for both repo cruises?

I know for the 7 night - we were on one of them (and booked one cabin points/one cabin cash).

I can't seem to find it - perhaps because I am glancing at the book and inserts too quickly.:confused3 :sad2:

Points only for cat. 8/9/10 or 11.

Oh boy, I should not even be thinking about this.:rolleyes2

I have to put in my plug for Debbie Lasher at Dreams! She took care of our Cruise/WDW trip this last Sept. and she did a Wonderful job :cheer2:
I currently have her working very hard, trying to get us on the Eastbound Repo. If there's any discounts, rebates, specials, whatever, she'll find 'em.pixiedust:

Prices are the same whether you call or a TA . Dreams, Allseas and other online Disney TA's offer clients deals because they are basically giving the client back some of their commission that DCL pays a TA.

We were on the Eastern Cruise in May '04 when they announced the California Cruises last time. We got notice of it before it was announced to the general public. This was pre-DISboards for me, so it came as a complete surprise. I think we were able to book a day or two after the announcement. All our tablemates booked and we were quite bummed because I was preg. and we weren't sure what our baby would be like to travel w/ at 6 months. We were bummed when we realized that she would've been a breeze. I really want to go this time, but once again...I'm pregnant! The baby will be a year by Aug. '08, so that shouldn't be a huge problem. It's just putting that deposit on my credit cards right now. Blah! Don't want to do that.

We were on the same cruise with you! Do remember the cute tags they put on everyone's stateroom door on announcement day saying 'this ship is turning around"?

What time is the "announcement"?

don't know - just called and asked AGAIN and the CMs still don't know (or aren't saying under threat of death).

I warned 'em if we don't know when the announcement is coming, the harrassing phone calls will start at 8am tomorrow and won't stop until the info is out there. ;) She said "yeah, we know"

Can you imagine what's going to happen when the first person who sent a fax to Inventory Control gets their phone call, and then posts on here???
:scared1: :scared1: Everyone else will either be sitting on their telephones, or wetting their pants! (sorry, that was kinda crude.......)
