45% off code during Easter question

I have a question regarding a Disney reservation during Easter.

For the 45% code, there are blacked out dates after 3/27... however, we would be willing to stay from 3/27 to 4/5. Easter is 4/4. Is is possible to extend the 45% off savings across the reservation if our trip begins on 3/27?

The CM I just spoke with seemed confused, as the first night (3/27) is the only night that got any type of discount.

A similar savings was allowed during our Thanksgiving trip a year ago, but did the rules change?

Yes the rules did change. It did used to be if you started your stay at during a code you got the code for your entire stay. When they went to a per night rate rule, that ended. So, you'll only get the code for the night of the 27th and have to pay full rate for the remainder of your stay.

That is correct that you will get the discount for one night. After that the discount dates are blocked out. You can still stay during that time. But not at the discounted rate.
I think this started changing a few years ago from getting the same rate on arrival date.
