45 minute layover in Atlanta

Ooooooh. That explains it. I wondered why she was in such a hurry to close that door!

Plus, she is in the air while the gate agents get to deal with the unhappy passengers.

I recently flew (2019) from MCO --> ATL --> CVG with a 44 minute layover and back with a 50 minute layover in ATL. It takes about 10 minutes to get off the plane if you sit in the back of the plane and if your first flight is delayed you will miss the second flight. ATL is fairly easy to navigate each terminal is a quarter mile apart (3 - 5 minute walk/1 minute bus ride) with the train being on the first level then the terminals being on the upper level going from T, A, B, C, D, E, F(International). If you are worried about being delayed then book a longer layover I would in the future after experiencing the quick layover.

This thread is 10 years old :magnify:

Totally hijacking, but what about 42 minutes in Cincinnati? I'm assuming that's a pretty small airport, so we should be fine, right? Already booked, just nervous!

CVG is my home airport. The gates are pretty much close to each other. You’ll be fine.

Wish I can edit on my smartphone. Didn’t know this was a ten year old thread.

And ten years ago, I wouldn’t be too sure about a 42 minute layover at CVG. I still think there was that auxiliary terminal where you had to take a bus.

Oh well. 42 minutes now? Yes. But I don’t think CVG has any hub status anymore.

If the airline changed its schedule to make your connection time too short for comfort then feel free to hand pick a few different sets of new flights (non-stops not ruled out) and request a change, while keeping the conversation going to at least two levels of higher up unless they grant your request with no added charge sooner.
