And my DH, who is 47 - has never had glasses, the bum!

I went straight from "regular" glasses (which I have worn since I was 12yo) to progressive bifocals at age 42. By 45yo I needed stronger progressives and a pair of "computer" glasses so that I could see my screen.

That was 5 years ago. And now I can hardly see my screen with either pair of glasses. Sheesh. Both my kids and my younger wife still don't wear glasses. I am seriously jealous of them.

BTW - I would have found this thread sooner, but I couldn't see the small print on the title of this thread.

TC, I am laughing because my glasses are sitting up on a pile of books on the desk! I can't wear them when I'm on the computer for some reason.

I'm adjusting to them - albeit slowly. Everything still gets fuzzy when I tilt my head up.
