44 Double B!

Yep - that's me........

I hit the big 44 today and became the proud owner of a pair of bifocals!

I wore glasses in school because the light irritated my eyes - but hadn't had a pair perched on my nose for over 26 years!

This was quite a shock and yes, a little blow to the ego!

My head's been spinning and I feel as though the ground is coming up to attack me. If I look up, I get dizzy and things get blurry... eye doctor said to give it a few days. I am now running around, taking my glasses on and off - I think - gasp! - that I've become my Mother!

I was shocked last night to discover that I could actually read the Bible without sticking it in my nose!!

I got the aniglare thingie on my glasses - I haven't driven with them at night yet - the lights from oncoming traffic was really hurting my eyes, this should help!

I had the anti-glare coating one time, and I hated it. It made my glasses so hard to clean that it almost wasn't worth it. Maybe they have improved the coating since then. Hope you like it.

Well - it's quite obvious that I am NOT wearing my glasses right now.....

That should have been antiglare - not aniglare!

Glasses clean easily for me so far!

Snoopy - I definitely would have gotten them sooner - if I had gone in for an eye check earlier!

As one of my birthday gifts (Ha!) my DH had the HUGE dent that I made on the front fender of my car fixed. I got that dent because I was backing up and didn't SEE the basketball pole that was right beside me.....

And he also fixed the dent in the trunk from.... well, I think you get the drift!

Why has your posture improved? I'm guessing that if you tilt your head a certain one the blurriness occurs?

If so - that makes me feel a wee bit better.... but not much!

I have to look at everything "head-on". No exactly worth wriing home about, but at least its something! (Aside from being able to read those pesky road signs and pill bottles!)

Define functioning........ Let's just say that everything now seems to be connected to one another!
