I just called the phone company and asked if there was anything that could be done with my problem. when I am alone in the house if I need a phone number I have to call 411 and that ccan really add on to my phone bill. they are going to send me a form that i will fill out and have my doctor sign it saying that I have MS and I will be exempt from the 411 charge. This is so hard on me, my son son has 2jobs andbasiclly he is my eyes,sowhenheisntaround Idothe 411 things,so frustrating.

I use switchboard.com for many of my phone inquiries. It is easier than trying to read a phone book. Also I use yahoo white pages. I'm sure if your computer is readily available to you this might help. I got a DSL line a while back and I do searches online a lot more since.

That is a great idea, why didn't I even think of it seeing as I live for my computer. I have computer glasses that lets me read the screen so much easier. Thanks for the tip
