40minutes on hold...

...didn't seem all that bad. Sure, I had to wake up my daughter for school while the speakerphone was blaring "The Tiki Room" song...but it was all good!

I just got my ADR's booked and I'm happy as a pig in mud!!!!

My one main ADR that was on my "to-do" list was CRT for breakfast on my b-day and I got it!!!!

8/10 - Biergarten - (lunch)
8/11 - 50's Prime - (lunch)
8/12 - MY BIRTHDAY at the Castle!!!!
8/13 - Tusker House (breakfast)
8/14 - 1900 Park Fare (dinner)

I may try and add Whispering Canyon and Crystal Palace to the list but I'm still trying to work out which park when and so forth.

Any tips on getting ADR's as you get closer to your trip? Any good stories???

Also....any advice on how I should break it to my husband that he'll be waking up really early to have a $143 breakfast????

The only way I can think of is not postable, but likely to work!!!!!

Yeah, I have to agree about the wait. I was expecting to be on hold for two hours based on recent posts. However, I was only on hold for 20 minutes to make the following ADRs for our upcoming honeymoon in August:

Fantasmic Package at Brown Derby
Fulton's Crab House
Ragland Road
JIKO
Coral Reef

Maybe, the system is running smoother or the cast members are better familiarized with it? I'm sure with the upcoming free dining the waits will increase.

Yes, it was a very simple procedure once I got a CM on the phone. I was super excited once I got my 8:15 for CRT...I almost forgot where else I was trying to book!!!!

I can't wait this is my first time on Disney dining plan ! I heard some people had to wait 2 hours ok the phone shame you can book online your self

That could be a nightmare...booking online with free dining!!!!

Actually, we aren't on the dining plan. I wonder if it would be harder if I were???

I was asked if I was on it....so now I'm curious if this affects the booking process????
