40% Room Discount PLUS Free Dining?

We have received and applied our 40% room discount for our September trip. I'm anticipating some form of free dining being announced for the dates we'll be visiting.

Is it true that one party may not receive both discounts?

It is too good to be true. One discount only.

Unless you booked a bounceback in Aug/Sept. and chose SSR or OKW, then you got 30% AND free dining.

We upgraded from ASMu to POFQ when we got our 40% PIN. If/when Free Dining is offered, we plan to switch back to a value (hopefully ASMu) for the first 4 or 5 nights for FD. Then POFQ for the remainder. FD only makes financial sense if we are at a value resort for it. But, I been waiting to get back to POFQ for 9 years and I won't give it up entirely - not even for FD.

At this point you have a hard choice to make...one or the other. Disney does not allowed the 'stacking" of discounts and they hardly ever offer it. Some of us that booked bounceback were eligible for 30% off and free dining but only at specific resorts.
