40% off!!!

So we call CRO this morning to just get a price with our 20% pin code for Sept 26-Oct 6. Well she tells us it is not available for those dates but if we wanted to change to either Sept 17-27 or Oct 19-29 we could get 40% off!!!

Needless to say we said yes!! Then she tells us POP is booked for both dates. So we thought what the heck, lets try the POLY!! Booked too. She gives us a price for one of the AllStars but I said I just wasn't sure, they don't interest me. So she saved the trip for us and we decided to think about it. Well I checked into when the rehab on the main pool was over at the CBR and it is SUPPOSED to be done so we called back and booked 10 nights, 6 day hoppers for $2088 for 2 adults,11year old DD and 5 year old DS!!!

Then I go back on the website and price out the POP for the original dates we wanted and we can stay there with no discount for 2 dollars less...so needless to say we are not sure what to do.

We have never tried CBR but we have done CSR and I just didn't like that everything was so spread out and in order to get to the main pool we had to drive! So either way we are spending about the same but it was pretty cool knowing that we had a pin attached to our name for 40% off!! She told us that if you have a pin code attached to your name that even if you book online you will get that price as long as you are booking the right dates and the resort is available.


So we have till Mar 1 to decide before we lose our ressie for CBR...

Lucky duck! hmmm... just off the top of my head
$2 more (not sure if that's your Total or per Day price difference, therefore $20, but same conclusion) for 10 days of loving family togetherness with a larger room, fridge in our room, slide at the Pool, a great new place to try...yup I'd pick the Disney Moderate Resort at 40% off (which sure doesn't come around every day) over Value Resort Pop Century EASILY.

Sure only you knows what a change in dates will mean to you though.

CBR is our fav resort! We love the Jamaica Bldg, but will take Aruba if Jamaica is booked. We stayed there 3x. CSR once and PO once. CBR is the best!

We love sipping pink lemonage by the pool!

Having a tea at 9pm and watching Illuminations fireworks from a table outside OPR.

It's colourful and uplifting.....I found CSR ho-hum and post-hurricane looking.

I love walking into OPR and smelling coconut! The music is awesome too! Very relaxing!

I would call again. The other boards are complaining of CMs telling them they have a 40% off code and giving them rack rates. They are also saying that you get the discount if you book online which isn't true. For pin codes you have to call and they have to put the discount in.

Well it has been a stressful weekend (at least for me!) DH decided that maybe we should rent points again and foolish me priced out AKL which was quite reasonable! So then we went back and forth between POP, CBR and now AKL!!

Momto4boys- We did go online to price out the same trip and found out that the CM was wrong, you do indeed have to call! We did however get the discount over the phone.

So now we are just trying to figure out what works out best for when we can get holidays. So the saga continues....

We just booked out trip too

I was really looking at the pop but the time we are there is

Pop Warner Week - The Pop Warner Superbowl and National Cheer & Dance Championships are held at Disney World in early December (tentative 2008 dates: December 6-13). The Value resorts and some of the Moderate resorts will be FULL of kids (both football players and cheerleaders). Expect a lot of noise if you stay there. This event can cause crowds and there have been some unfortunate incidents, including violent fights between teams.

We ended booking the caribean beach resort (it seemed most removed on a map from the value resorts) from the 7th to the
15th of Dec here is what we got

Seems we are going to be expecting a new member to our family at the same time we were planning a trip

Oh well at least the kids took it well! So the next time it will be a trip with 3 kids..

Can I ask if you the waterpark and more option and the Disney Dining Plan on your tickets with the $2088 quote? I've been seeing on this board about 40% off quotes so called this morning and got a price from October 25-November 1 (7 nights) with waterpark and more and the dining plan for $2608. They said that there was a 40% off the room code by my name. You were quoted a price for more nights with more people (we only have 1 child so 3 in my family) for a lower price so just trying to locate the difference.
