40% off Room Rates???

Does anyone know if Disney still offers 40% off a future reservation if you book before you check out?

If so, does the trip need to be within the calendar year??

My parents did it last year and we got CR for $160/night including taxes!

Just thinking ahead for future trips!

We received one of those "Come back" offers when we were staying at CSR last February, it was a door hanger, we found it the 2nd day we were there, and we had to go ahead and book our next vacation before our check out date. The rate was great 40% savings, but we have never received another one again. I don't think they are given out too often.

I got the "come back" offer three times in a row but have not received one on my last two trips.

Usually the "come back" rate is for times of year when there are discounts of 35-45% available to anyone such as those available for this month and next. I have never seen a "come back" offer for Holiday periods.

I rec'd a come back doorhanger in Dec 2002 (Poly Tahiti building)but it was only for 25% off. Knowing that I could (usually) get 40% off with my AP, I didn't use the comeback rate. In December 2003 I asked if they were offering the Comeback promotion and was told no. (this was in Concierge).

I did not receive a door hanger in March 2004 in concierge either.

I have been bitten. Is this sick or what? I no longer talk to my in laws about this as they are so sick of hearing me talk about it. Thank God I found this site. All of the Brothers and Sister in laws are tired of it. And I feel sad that they will never experience it. I had been in the past and stayed off site and thought "what's the big deal"? Sure, it's an experience for little ones. Six years ago we brought my 13 year old DD and our newborn DD and we have been every year since. Staying on property is like being on a resort. We have the best of both worlds.

Looking forward to year 7!
