Same here, but I'm trying to convince my mom to take me, since it'll be my senior year of high school, and the last time I can go. Plus, I'm hoping to be done with my classes this spring. I'm hoping we can possibly stay a few nights in the Grand or Poly. We use to, but since our first few trips, we decided to stay at moderates to save money.

Wouldn't you know I join DVC and then I start getting these pin codes like crazy. I'm going to look into it, but we are planning on staying at GF Dec. 4-7. I see the codes "may" go through Dec. 5, but I'm subscribing to see if anyone else has luck with booking anything for that weekend. We won't be booking for quite a few weeks since a May trip just popped up on us with developer points. Oh, darn!

If the code ends up being in my name, instead of my moms, we can still use it right? Because in the Disney ads on tv I know they say if you aren't 18 have a parents permission to call. (My mom just tells me to be her, awkward!)

We booked December 4-5 with check out on the 6th. The CM said the discount was available for the 4 and 5 only, so if we wanted to add the 6th it would be rack rate. We booked the POR for $89.40 a night before tax.

You can figure out the cost by checking out the rack rates for the particular date. Since some dates are peak season (March) and some dates are regular value season (Aug/Sep/Dec) and even regular season (Oct), it's confusing to some why the rates are all over the place. We are going early December--value season and the cost of a standard room at POR is $149. I subtracted 40% from that to get $89 and when I called yesterday, that is the exact price I was quoted. It's always good to know what the discount rate is going to be when they give you a quote so that you know if you get the correct discount. Good luck!

I received a 40% PIN mailer in the mail, and although the ad strongly implies that it is for the Value resorts, when I called I was told that you can indeed use it for the Mods and Deluxes as well. I made a ressie at Wilderness Lodge for December, and it works out to 40% off of Rack Rates, just as you'd expect.
